The following weeks were peaceful
and quiet.
Chun-Hwa quickly had found a job at the mental health hospital she had interned at, with a high, nice pay.
When the two weeks came, that her pay check came, she opened it at the dinner table next to Levi.

He watched with steel cold eyes, as her warm honey ones widened excitedly at the large sum of money sitting in front of her.
"Holy sh...it!!"
She yelled happily, jumping up from her seat, abandoning the pasta dish Levi had made for supper.

"Let me see."
Levi beckoned, finishing his meal by wiping away the sauce in the very inner corner of his mouth.

When she handed him the check, leaning over his shoulders, even he was surprised by the amount.

"We could take out a mortgage on a house with this..."
"Well... we don't need to go crazy, we can rent an apartment."

Levi rough hands travelled up Chun-Hwa bare arms that were wrapped around his neck, smoothly.
"You deserve to live in a nice house, Chun-Hwa."
Though Chun-Hwa smiled, snuggling into Levi.

The next morning, Chun-Hwa was curling her hair, Bobby pin in mouth, while Levi watched himself tying his tie properly in the same mirror. He passed her a glance, a small smile playing onto his lips.

"Your makeup is pretty today."
"Thank you.."
Lightly she blushed, looking into the sink, as Levi started to walk out the door.

"Do I come home first today?"
"Like almost always."
Chun-Hwa giggled to herself, passing him a look over her shoulder.
"Alright.. I'll be sure to have dinner ready, I'll be going now. I love you!"
"...I love you too."

It had taken awhile but Chun-Hwa finally started to say the words back, that she had wanted to since day one.
Levi had existed the apartment, heading out the complex through the elevator.
The simplicist man throughly enjoy the abyss of quietness and peacefulness of his apartment building, passing a glance at his watch for time sakes.

Though, his calm surroundings quickly changed, as his hands pushed the exist doors to the large building.
Swarmed with a bunch of cameras, microphones, reporters, and black tinted windowed cars blocking the pathway to the parking lot overwhelmed Levi Ackerman.
He had no idea what was happening.

"Mr. Ackerman can you tell me how you are exactly feeling in this moment?"
One Reporter forcefully shoved her microphone in Levi's face.

"Mr. Ackerman, were you and Mr. Erwin Smith close?"
Another reporter asked behind the crowd, pushed up between three other reporters.

"Do tell us how you are feel about Mr. Smith! And Mrs. Smith!"
One cried, as Levi seen he would be a few minutes behind schedule according to his watch.

"I don't know and I don't care, brats."
Levi announced in under his breath, which caught the guard off of the reporters who could hear him whisper in under his breath.

The reporter who really needed the story however, kept pressuring Levi as he elbowed his way through the crowd, towards his car.
The cluster didn't stop there, they even headed towards Levi's car with their flashing lights.
With many mumbled, jumbled curses in under his breath, the hassle never ended until Levi fully drove out of the parking lot in his SUV.

When he had gotten into work, it was a similar situation however with concerned co-worker and one overjoyed boss.
"There's our war hero!"
"Levi! Why did you let that bastard take your status?!"
