The galaxy is endless,
Filled with countless little stars,
We were meant to explore together,
But now you've run too far.
The galaxy is endless,
And my lungs are achy and tired,
I asked you to slow down,
And you said, "soon" like a liar.
The galaxy is endless,
I haven't seen you in a while,
All I wanted was to help,
But you brushed me off with a smile.
The galaxy is endless,
I've missed you so, so dearly,
My heart can't really take it,
But I promised to visit yearly.
The galaxy is endless,
I thought we were too,
But you've already slipped away,
And the stars are very few.
