It was around 1:30 at night when it happened. Our story starts out at Hawkins Indiana, a small town, where everything was completely normal and boring. Well, that's what everyone thought.

2 year old Cassy Harrington was sleeping soundly in her crib. In the next room over was her older brother, a 7 year old Steve Harrington. Steve was an only child for 5 years until Cassy came along. Of course, he was upset at first when he found out he was getting a baby sister. He wasn't going to be the star of the attention anymore. But as soon as he saw his baby sister for the first time, all of those feelings washed away and were replaced with love.

Steve loved his baby sister. Even though he was only 5 at the time, he did all he could to help his mother with the baby. As years went on, him and his sister only got closer. He was going to be the best big brother ever.

But all of that was taken away from him on one fateful night. At 1:30 am one night, someone broke into the Harrington's household. The Harrington's weren't the richest people in Hawkins, but they were pretty wealthy. Cassy was the talk of the town for the first few months she was born, pretty much everyone in town had heard of her. And everyone was going to hear the dreadful news about her come morning.

A man in all black broke in through their back window, surprisingly not waking anyone up. This was not a classic robbery. This was a kidnapping.

The man carefully crept into Cassy's room, and picked up the baby. Cassy, waking up and not knowing who he was, started crying. The man quickly brought her against his chest to try to silence her. This only made her scream louder.

In the next room down, Steve woke up to the sound of his baby sister crying. Now, Steve being the awesome big brother he was, he got out of bed and made his way to his sister's room.

When opening the door, he saw a tall figure walking out his sister's room. At first, Steve thought it was one of his parents. But when he peered into his parents open room, he saw both of them sound asleep in bed.

Steve was now scared. There was a stranger in his house holding Cassy. But then his brother mode kicked in and he had two choices. One, run after the intruder and try to get Cassy back. Two, run into his parents room and wake them up. Steve decided that he had no chance of stopping the intruder on his own, so he chose the second option. Steve screamed and ran into his parents room and violently shaked them awake.

The intruder being alarmed by this sound, ran down stairs with the baby and ran to the front door. By now Steve had successfully awoken his parents and told them what was going on. Steve and his parents ran down stairs, only to realize it was too late. The front door was thrown open and the intruder had escaped. With Cassy.

Steve, now realizing what had happened fell on the ground screaming and crying. His baby sister was kidnapped, and he could not save her. He blamed himself for not saving her. Maybe if he hadn't screamed or had ran after them instead, she would be safe. But now, the one thing he loved most in the world was gone. Steve told nobody, but carried the burden of that night on his back for many years to come, believing it was his fault that Cassy was gone.

In the morning, everyone would know of the missing baby Harrington that was stolen in the night. There were search parties, interrogations, posters hung up, but they never found Cassy. Or the man who took them. Many people thought they would never see her again. And they were right.

Well, intull 10 years later they were.....

Night of Kidnapping, somewhere else...

A man in all black came running down the street to Hawkin's lab, holding a baby in his arms. This man had heard of a man looking for babies to experiment on. Most people when hearing this would be disgusted or go to the cops, but this sick man thought it would be the perfect way of getting some cold, hard cash.

The man walked into the lab and went up to the room he heard to go to if wished to speak to Dr. Brenner.

Inside was Dr Brenner sitting at a desk, and a baby girl who looked no older than 2 sitting in the corner of the room. He walked in, and showed Dr Brenner the baby. The man smiled when he got his money and handed the baby to the Doctor. The man then left, leaving the baby with Brenner. Dr. Brenner looked at the baby in his and smiled.

"Welcome home Seven" He said. Dr. Brenner looked over to the baby and the corner and walked over to her and set Cassy on the floor with her. "Looks like you have a new friend Eleven" he said.
