Chapter 1

3rd POV

Two girls, both at the age of 12 were walking around barefoot, in hospital gowns, in the woods. These were not just any ordinary girls no. Both girls, Eleven and Seven, both had wonderful powers. One having them since birth and the other gaining them when they were very little. Neither one of them knew of their past, being locked up in a lab being experimented on for most of their lives.

Only one girl knew very little of her family. When she was old enough, she was given a gold locket that had supposedly been on her when they "found" her. In the locket was a picture of amusing her as a baby, and another boy, who looked to be about 7. She had no idea who this was, but always kept the locket on, being it the only piece that she had from her family.

Both girls were raised in Hawks lab, being experimented on for their powers. Both have the same powers, so were together a lot because they were used together when being tested. Eleven and Seven had come to think of each other as sisters, looking out for each other and being there for one another growing up.

They have now miraculously escaped the lab, and are now walking around in the woods trying to get as far as possible away from the lab as they can.

Eventually, the two girls stumbled along a dinner, seeing a man walk out the back door taking the trash out. Eleven looked at Seven and signaled for them to go inside. Seven, being the scared innocent girl she is, followed Eleven no questions asked, letting Eleven take the leadership.

Both girls walked down to the back door and slowly walked in. They made their way to the kitchen where they found a basket of fries. Both girls looked at each other before diving into the basket, eating as much as they could.

Suddenly, Benny looked up and saw two heads eating something in the kitchen.

"Hey!" he yelled. Eleven grabbed the fry basket and Seven's rist and ran to the back door. Benny chased after them and was able to stop them before they got out.

"You think you can steal from me boy?!" He semi-yelled as he grabbed Eleven's shoulders. He then took the time to look at her closely, then looked over at Seven.

"What the hell?" he muttered.

Time Skip

Benny stared at the girls in front of him as they scarfed down the food he had given them.

"Geeze" he muttered.

"Did your parents forget to feed you?" he asked. He got no response.

"Is that why you both ran away?" He tried again. Still no response.

"Did they uh...did they hurt you?" he asked, trying to get them to speak.

"You went to the hospital, you got scared, you ran off, you wound up here is that it?" He asked. Finally, he got tired of getting no answers and took the food away from the girls.

"I'll give this back, all right? And you can have as much as you want. All right? Maybe even some ice cream. But you got to answer a few of my questions first all right? We got a deal?" Eleven and Seven just kept staring at him, so he took that as a sign it was okay to move on.

"All right, let's start with the easy stuff. All right?" Eleven just stared and Seven slowly nodded looking at him with her big doe eyes.

"My name is Benny. Benny Harmmond" He said holding out a hand for them to shake. "See like this, here" He said and took Eleven's hand gently, shaking their hands, then turned and did the same to Seven. "I got you, don't worry it's okay" He reassured Seven when she got nervous.

"Nice to meet you, yeah. And you two are?" He asked the two girls. Seven looked at Eleven for guidance, but Eleven just stared at him once again. He sighed and looked down, seeing the 011 tattoo on Eleven's wrist.

"Eleven" He said, as Eleven took her arm away. He then turned to look at Seven. And Seven, deciding that she trusted this man, slowly held out her wrist for him to look at.

"And Seven" He said out loud.

"What's that mean?" He asked, and got no response.

"What's that mean?" He asked again looking into their eyes.

"No" Eleven said finally, taking a hold of Seven's hand under the table. "Well I'll damned, she speaks" He said jokingly, chuckling at the end. "No? No what?" Benny asked. When he got no answer, he clicked his tongue and picked up the food basket getting ready to leave.

"All right. I guess no more food then." He said getting up. The girls panicked, and finally Seven said something. "Seven" she said looking at him. Both Benny's and Eleven's head turned towards her. Benny slowly sat back down, intrigued.

"Yeah, what does that mean?" Benny asked. Seven looked at Eleven then back at Benny. "Seven" she said pointing to herself. "Eleven" Eleven then said copying Seven's actions.

"All right then, here you go" He said chuckling and handing the food back to the girls, satisfied he got some information.

Mini Time Skip

"Yeah all I know is that they are scared to death" Benny said, on the phone with social services while Seven and Eleven ate food in the other room. "Yeah i think that maybe they have been abused or.." He trailed off, looking at the two girls.

While Eleven and Seven were eating, they both were disturbed when they heard the rucess the fan was making across the room. Eleven stopped eating and stared down the fan. Then, suddenly, the fan stopped, and they both went back to eating.

Time Skip

It was now night time, and the two girls were eating ice cream while Benny cleaned up the kitchen when there was a knock at the door. Both girls turned their heads around and looked at Benny with worried looks.

"All right, you guys sit tight. Whoever it is, I'll tell 'em to go away real quick all right?" He said walking to the door. He opened it and the two girls watched him interact with the lady there. Then suddenly, the lady shoots him, dead. Eleven and Seven jumped up and ran to the back.

They were blocked with two men holding guns in their faces. Eleven grabbed Seven's hand as Seven took care of the men with her powers. They fled out the door and through the woods.

They don't know how long they walked for, but eventually it started raining. In the end, Eleven and Seven ended up being found by three 12 year old boys holding flashlights.
