yes you were mute, you got treated differently and looked at weirdly because of it

" can you join someone else's group? you're mute, you'll just drag us down " the girl said

you smiled happily, trying to join another group but ended up with the teacher again

you nodded happily.

being mute made you look at a lot of things differently than a normal person's point of view

but you always loved to look at things positively, you loved life eventhough you were mute

those words were heard by your mother a lot when she gave birth to you, but she didn't want people to apologise.. you were healthy and that's all that matters

now you are a college student and you communicate with gestures and post it notes, you don't use sign language a lot because most people can't understand it anyways

you always kept your notes short, drawing small pictures to show to your classmates

they were nicer than the people back in highschool, it was also a positive thing to look forward to

" oh crap! sorry " someone bumps into you harshly

you fell to the ground and your books dropped, the boy looked at you as he quickly picked up your things

" i'm so sorry, are you hurt " he asks

you looked at him and you felt like his eyes were staring into your soul

you drew a picture for him, it was a person holding a big thumbs up

he smiled at you

" are you not able to speak? " he asks politely

you drew another picture

it was a person speaking, but with a big cross over it

you also drew another one, a person with good hearing..

" ahh, you can hear me well " he smiles

you nodded and he helps you stand up

" i'm taeyong, what about you? " he asks

you wrote your name

he read it out

" y/n.. " he nodded at you

you smiled back and nodded your head

" okay y/n, i'll see you around~ " he waves goodbye and left

you smiled at him, he was so cute

but of course.. you couldn't say that to him

you walked home, feeding a few stray cats nearby your apartment

you had just bought the cat treats from the convenience store nearby your school, then that guy bumped into you

the thought of him smiling appeared into your head again.. he was the cutest boy you've ever seen

you wished you could say his name, lee taeyong..
