Chapter 7: Idk

When Anna arrived at the dorm room she was relieved that Connor was asleep. She's far too happy to deal with him right now. Tomorrow maybe. She knew once Connor figured out that she and Eva is not an item he might change his hostile behavior towards "Brad".

Eva's world took a 360 degree turn in a couple of hours that she didn't even have the time to internalize everything. You know those times where everything happens so fast that your immediate decisions needed. Most of the times you don't dwell on it and act upon it based on your instinct. That's what just happened to her. Now that she have the time to think about it she's trying to ignore it. Thinking that if she'll just ignore it and and act that it didn't happen and that Anna's confessions was all but a dream it'll go away. But she knew she was wrong. And she knew that ignoring something won't make it go away. She thought back at Brad, how he always made her feel. Then forced her thoughts to when Anna confessed. She has long hair, she figured that if Anna will cut her hair short, she'll totally as a boy without the need for a wig- and a cute boy that is.

God what am I thinking? Damn. Play it cool Eva, Anna needs your help - Eva said to herself before closing her eyes to sleep.

The next day

Anna was a nervous wreck. She doesn't know how to approach Eva. They have Chem Lab that day so she expects to see the blonde and still doesn't know how to acts infront of her now that she knew abot her true identity. Then she thought back for when she was still in Brad's garb, she was always being herself infront of Eva.

Eva and Rachel arrived just in time before the class started. Anna was busy playing a mobile game on her phone to kill time. Eva noticed Anna being engrossed with whatever she was doing, she seemed to be hiding something below the table, she smiled mischievously and rounded the table glad that Anna was too busy on her phone to notice Eva. She stood at her back slowly lowering her head near Anna's ear. She blew an air near her ear before speaking in a very low voice that made Anna's body jerk.

"What are you doing?" Eva whispered.

"Jesus Eva! You're going to kill me!"

Eva just laugh and sat beside her.

Connor then saw them and yet again his anger flared. Eva noticed the deathly glare Connor threw to Brad.

"What's up with you and Connor?" Eva asked softly only for Anna to hear.

Anna's head shut up from rummaging his backface to face Eva, she sighed. She knew Eva deserves the truth. After all she already knew all about her.

Anna faced her and smiled sadly. "He thinks we're an item. And he had this huge crush on you since like forever. He thinks I snagged you from him." she continued almost chuckling at her last statement.

"Uh ha." was Eva's only answer. She already suspected that she was the cause of the sudden cold air between them.

"If he only knew I don't have any chance with you." Anna forced a smile.

Eva just smiled and said. "You know I kinda feel bad that I'm the cause of the obvious conflict between you two. You were really good buddies." Eva said.

"He likes you alot Eva. I think the only way for him to consider me as his friend again is when you slap him the truthof us being not an item and maybe giving him a chance?" Anna graced a small smile to hide her true feelings. She felt stupid and childish trying to see what Eva would do. Anna was hoping that she will say 'NO'. She already told Eva how she feels towards her, the ball is on her court now. And though Eva already said her earlier answer that she's not into girls. Anna still hopes that somehow she will come in terms with her feelings. That maybe, just maybe she'll like her for her. Not her being Brad. After all it was all of her except for a slight change in appearance. She can only hope though.
