Karl's Pov
I stood there as the mystery girl walked away. I had completely forgotten I was competing for money after the kiss. My jaw dropped as I watched her move around the corner.
"Karl? You good there buddy?" Tariq chuckled.
"What the HONK? I didn't even ask for her name."I yelled.
"Something tells me you will see her again." I didn't have time to figure out what he meant by that. I drove back furiously and ran inside the studio. I could see Chris in the parking lot and just ran faster. We pushed each other through the door and I kept running. I looked to the set that Jimmy created for us and ran to the button Chris and I neck and neck. I lunged for the button hitting it seconds before Chris.
"YESSSS!" I screamed as I jumped up and down. Best day ever!
"And Karl won! Now Karl I have to ask did you actually kiss a girl?" Jimmy smirked. I just gave him a confused look.
"Yes, what do you mean?"
"I said you just had to get a girl to agree to kiss you. I never said you actually had to kiss one." He just laughed. "But I'm glad you found one."
"WHAT THE HONK?!" I yelled.
"Hey Karl, why did my sister say thanks for the chocolates?" Chris said looking down at my phone.
"What do you mean?" I asked, now I'm just confused.
"My sister texted me like 10 minutes ago. Tell Karl thanks for the Chocolates." I don't remember buying his sister chocolates? We heard the door I watched as a girl walked through the door. I looked at her and saw the familiar dark hair. It was the electric blue eyes that really got me. It was the girl I had just kissed. How did she know where the studio was? She walked in a devious look on her face.
"Hey Jimmy I got you a Pepsi at the corner store."
"KAT!" Chris ran over to hug her. He wrapped his arms around her and pick her up spinning her.
"Hey Chris! So who won the challenge?" She looked me directly in the eyes and gave me a look saying it better have been you.
"Ummmmm. Who is this?" I asked hoping that the answer wasn't what I thought it was.
"It's KAT! Chris's sister!" Jimmy yelled as he ran over to great her. Chris put her down and she walked over to me a smirk on her face.
"I'm Kat. Nice to meet you. How did your challenge go?" She asked as she shook my hand. All the color drained from my face. The girl I kissed.... Was Chris's sister.... I am so dead.
"He won." Tarqi laughed. THAT'S WHY HE TOLD ME NOT TO TALK TO HER!
"Karl why do you look like you've seen a ghost?" Chris asked giving me a pat on the shoulder.
"Watch the footage and you'll understand." Kat winked at me and I blushed. Jimmy and Chris walked over to Tariq's camera and watched it back. She walked close to me and whispered in my ear. "Thanks for the chocolates."
"YOU KISSED OUR SISTER!" Jimmy yelled, Kat just burst into laughter.
"You kissed Karl!" Chris yelled.
"He came up to me in a panic and bought me chocolates in exchange for a kiss. It's not our fault neither of you showed him picture of me!" She put her hands up in defense. "Plus, it was a hell of a way to be welcomed back home."
"Tariq why didn't you stop them?"
"I warned Karl, but he wanted to win."
"Oh my god." She huffed. "It's not like we are getting married. He kissed me for a challenge and I messed with him a bit get over it. Do we need to have a conversation about Karl's lips for an hour for you to stop caring"
"Hey guys! What's going on?" Chandler said as he walked onto the set.
Chris and Jimmy burst into laughter at my complete embarrassment. Kat just bit her lip and giggled a little.
"Hi, I'm Kat! I'm Chris's sister it's nice to finally meet you Chandler." She walked over and gave him a hug. He was shocked by the actual living girl claiming to be Chris's sister.
"You going to kiss him too?" Chris joked only making my face turn even more red.
"What?" Chandler just looked at us like we were all completely insane.
"You'll find out when you watch the video." Kat winked at me.
"She is very real." I squeaked. We filmed a quick outro and we all took the mic pack off. I grabbed her real quick when no one noticed and pulled her aside. "Why didn't you tell me?"
"Because I wanted you to win. Chris is always making you lose money, thought I would help you out." She said in a matter-of-fact tone.
"You still could've told me." I whispered.
"I also wanted chocolate and you were desperate." She chuckled to herself. I thought back to the kiss. How intimate it was. How she felt in my arms. I thought in that moment that she would be the perfect girl to cuddle up and watch high school musical together.
"Okay, but if you knew I was your brother's friend, why did you kiss me like that?" I muttered out.
"Can I say content? How about you are cute? OR I just wanted to make it memorable for when you realize I was Chris's sister." She put my hand on my shoulder and looked me in the eyes. "How about we forget about it and start over okay? Hi. I'm Kat! I'm Chris's sister! Congratulations on that win you just got!"
I smiled at her. This I could get behind.
"I'm Karl! It's nice to finally meet you. To be honest Chandler and I thought you weren't real." I laughed as she shook my hand.
"I am excited about the prospect of working with you! I am going to work as Jimmy's newest camera man and editor." She smiled at me. It was as if her smile completed her look. How was someone so pretty related to Chris?
"You are going to see me lose a lot." I laughed.
"It's okay. I can just edit it to make you look good." She said walking away. Once again leaving me breathless.
