1991:

On a small farm set in the country side outside of England a young boy was sitting outside on the porch reading a book enjoying and peaceful quietness and wave crashing in the distance. Y/N L/N. He was a quiet child of 11 years old. Not many friends other than his sister Dove. Although she was only a year younger than him he still treated her as a brother should. He was home alone reading one of his favorite books, he had read it many times but still enjoyed it until he was bothered. Which he was unbothered till a truck rolled down the driveway in the pasture meaning his parents and sister were back. Still not looking away he waited till they got out of the truck to bring them attention. "Y/N!" A voice yelled out. Y/N looked out and saw his sister Dove being the first one out running towards him at full speed. Sighing and putting down his book, Y/N got up and walked off the porch and was knocked over by Dove who was not letting him go. "I've missed you." Y/N just laid there's and groaned out. "You were gone for an hour." Dove giggled at got off of Y/N who took at deep inhale as he sat up still sitting in the lawn. "I still missed you." Dove chimed making Y/N crack a smile for the first time in the day.

"Good to you smiling again son." A deep voice uttered. Y/N looked and saw his dad walking across the lawn with his mother beside him both smiling hard.

"Not much to smile about out here other than Dove being Dove." Y/N said trying to standing up but soon was pushed down by Dove who didn't like Y/N quip. "You two are looking happy, what's the occasion?" Y/N said finally standing up as his parents made their way to him. "This is why." His mom said holding out a letter. Y/N's eyes widened at the sight. "Is that ..?" Y/N started but was interrupted by Dove as she snatched the latter out of her mother's hand. "Dove!" Her mother bellowed as she walked out of reaching range away from her parents and behind Y/N.

Lucinda Thomsonicle-Pocus
Chief Attendant of Witchcraft Provisions.' What is all of this?" Dove ask as Y/N grabbed the letter from her. "Wizardry and Witchcraft that isn't real." Dove noted. "That's what you think sis." Y/N as he looked back at Charles and Jessie. They smiled and pulled out their wands and swished them casting a spell. Charles making the car levitate and Jessie making the wind blowing with flowers flying through the air. "No way." Dove gasped. Y/N smiled and grabbed a flower. "We knew this day was bound to happen so we wanted to show you both only Y/N was 5 years early of knowing." Charles said walking over to the siblings. Dove turned back to her parents and was still surprised. "As the letter stated your a wizard Y/N, Hogwarts is a school where you can learn to use your magic in safe hands." Jessie said kneeling in front of her son. "Why not just a regular school Dove asked which made Charles laugh. "You really think that muggles will just ignore magic like that?"  "Muggles." Y/N asked in confusion with the word. "Non magic folk. We were just as confused as you were but don't worry in time you will make your story know at Hogwarts and you'll be happy to know you don't live a normal life. Now let's go inside so we can have lunch, I know Dove is starving." Jessie said walking at the house. "But Dove is always starving." Y/N quipped which earned him a hard punch to the arm from Dove.

~Timeskip~

Y/N sat in his room reading his acceptance letter for what seemed like the 100th time until there was a knock on the door. "Y/N." His father called out opening the door. "How do you feel?" His father asked which made Y/N shrug his shoulders. "I can already tell your nervous." Charles said sitting on the end of Y/N's bed. "Don't worry your mother and I were nervous as well." Charles stated. "I was a halfblood, having a muggles father and my mum was a witch while your mother was a pureblood." Charles finished.

"Guessing pureblood is her mum and dad were a witch and wizard." Y/N remarked making his father chuckle. "Always were the brightest in the family. Get that from your mother who was a Ravenclaw." Charles sighed which made Y/N think. 'Ravenclaw?'. "It's a house in Hogwarts, there's your Mathers house Ravenclaw, intelligence, learning, wisdom and wit. There's Hufflepuff known for their hard work, patience, justice, and loyalty. Then my house  Gryffindor which were courage, chivalry, and determination. Then there's Slytherin known for there cunning ambition, not the greatest of houses I'll tell you that much." Charles said grimacing. Y/ took not of his father's look and looked down. "Guessing nothing good comes out of Slytherin." Y/N inquired which his father nodded to. "Always were the brightest." Charles said smiling again. "We'll be going to get your supplies tomorrow." Charles spoke as he made his way to the door. "I'm proud of you son." His father said readied to leave but was stopped by Y/N. "Dad." Y/N called out. "What if I'm not as special as they think I am?" Y/N asked in concern. His father sighed and walked back in the room and kneeled in front of his son. "Propria persona tua tu et filius non sunt unum hominem in mundo non potest aliud tibi semper, divinos tuos  (You are your own person son and no one in the world will tell you different, your a wizard) Charles said in their family language of Latin which was not common in England but due to their family origin on his father's side only spoken by his family, Y/N, dove and a little by his mother. "I love you Y/N." Charles said as he pulled his son in for a hug. "I love you too Dad." Y/N said as he returned the hug. Tomorrow is a new day and only Y/N can guess what'll happen.
