"Hello?"

"Hi, yes, my niece is a victim of abuse-" she sobbed hard into the phone.

"Calm down ma'am. The abuser?"

"Her father," she whispered hoarse into the phone.

There was silence before the woman replied,

"We'll be there in 2."

There was a flatline at the other end of the phone.

"Hello?" Her aunt groaned.

"So god help me," she said, supporting Y/N in her arms.

Y/Ns dad sat at the other end of her bed, crossing his arms.

"You fool! Mother would be ashamed!" She cried.

Her father made a gesture as if to brush her off with his hand.

"Well, mother-" He said, mocking her accent. "Is dead!" He chuckled.

"You evil hag!" She sobbed into Y/Ns blanket.

They fought there for a while, before a doctor walked in.

Her aunt sobbed harder, pointing an accusing finger at her brother.

"He did this! Almost killed her-" she sobbed.

"Calm down ma'am. He couldn't have killed her, it was a leg stab." She eyed the sobbing aunt suspiciously. Auntie glared at her evily.

Another doctor came in.

"Sir, we have to keep you here." He locked his arms behind him, as he kicked and screeched,

"I have human rights! Get off me! Ugh-" he groaned, the doctor was holding him tighter.

"Just 'til the police get here," he spat. Y/Ns dad attempted to make a swing at the aunt, but his not-so-bright self didn't realise he was still in a lock.

Y/N shuffled in her bed, and everyone stopped moving, listening intently.

Her dad even stopped struggling in shock.

"Auntie Tao?" She said, weakly. Her voice was rusty.

"Oh, honey! Your awake!" She cried. She looked like she was about to hug her, but Y/N was glad she held it in, as her head was still very sore.

They sat there for a couple seconds before two groups of people came in. Police, and a nurse.

The police let the doctor release him. Her dad tried to make a run for it, but they pinned him to the ground.

The old lady across Y/Ns bed was quite horrified.

The nurse looked over, disgusted at the amount of fuss.

The police charged her dad out of the hospital, and even downstairs, she could hear her dads curses.

Y/N sighed, as the nurse walked over to her. She had a letter in her hand.

"How are you doing, hon?" She said in a sweet, silky voice.

"Pretty good, my heads a bit fucked, though," she said.

Her aunt shook her head and put a finger to her lips.

The nurse giggled.

"It's alright. Anyways, the post office gave me this to give to you." She smiled softly as she exited.

Y/N examined the letter. She hovered her shaky hand and turned it around; there was a purple wax seal bearing a coat of arms; a lion, an eagle, a badger and a snake surrounding the letter 'H'.
