Angel: Preston's in Town and Stuff is Going Down!

Jerome's P.o.V:

I was so happy to see the face at my door. "PURRRRRRSSSSSTOOOOOONNNN!" "JAAAAAYYYYYYY-RRROOOOMMMME!" We yelled at eachother, probably annoying my neighbors."How you been, buddy?" He asked with a smile. "Fine, I guess..." I said with a sigh. "Adam told me whats wrong, Im really sorry about all that." "You dont have to apologize for something you didnt do." "I know, I just feel bad for you is all. I actually have some news."

"What?" Silence. "R-rob and I... are, um... Kinda... Dating..." "Really? That's great! I knew you guys would get together at some point! And Adam owes me a few dollars..." I said that last part quietly. "What?" "NOTHING!" I yelled out. "Anyway, come on in!" he walks in like its his own home and sits on the couch. "Do you wanna talk about it?" He asked me as I sat in one of my recliners. "What is there to talk about?! He doesn't love me, and I'm fine with that!" I said in a slight yell. "I know your not, Jerome. You have bags under your eyes, which are also slightly red and puffy from you crying. Please, talk to me about. We're best buds, remember? We talk to each other when we're down, or even if it's for something different. If you'd like, we could go get some coffee to cheer you up, sound good?"

"Uh, sure! Let's go to Kreamer's! They have the best coffee and stuff." I said getting up and grabbing my wallet. "Don't even think about it, it's on me!" Preston says in a kind tone. I answer with a nod, and with that, we left.

We got there, and I'm happy with the face I'm greeted by. "Kandy! Is that you?!" "Jerome!? Yeah,
It's good to see ya! I see you have a certain guest with you, too!" I thinks she means Preston. "Yeah, he's just here for a few days." "Nice! Anyway, what can I get you two?" "The usual please!" Was my answer and then Preston ordered a strawberry-banana smoothie. Mitch's favorite... I get pulled out of my thoughts when surge of pain goes through my nose.

All I know is, I'm on the floor with a bloody nose. "What the f*** did you do too my brother, you a**!" I look up and see Kandy holding back Mex, Mitch's younger sister. "What are you talking about?!?!" "You broke his heart, is what I'm talking about!" Wait... What did she mean? I broke HIS heart? "Mex, calm down!" Kandy yelled. She then pulled her into one of her bear hugs and Mex stood there, instantly hugging her back.

I heard a muffled 'Sorry' and saw a hand in front of face. I take it and am pulled up by Kandy. "Sorry 'bout that. I'm just really protective over Mitch and he's been down since the incident." I have tears in my eyes remembering the past events of the week. I quickly hurry out of the shop and rush to my house. I need to see Mitch and fast!
