Part Eighteen

Karia's POV

"What? Juan this is no time for joking".
I wipe the tears from my face. I feel so stupid for crying in front of Juan but I can't help it.

"No jokes. I like you Karia. I feel the same way you do. I don't think I'm good enough. I think anyone in the world would be lucky to have you and I think you're amazing".

I take a step back. I can't speak.
I just look at Juan and he looks at me.
I open my mouth but nothing comes out. Juan smiles and I do too.

"Can I have a hug now? " He giggles, that giggle that makes my stomach fill with butterflies.
He walks towards me and pulls me into a hug. I can't believe it. After all I've been feeling he's been the same. He lets go.

Juan sits back down on the bed.
He holds both hands out to me.
I take them and fear washes over me.
Oh no what if he wants to kiss me.
I've kissed boys but Juan... Karia stop.

He pulls me close to him.
Juan lets go of my hands and puts his hands at my hips.
My hands fall to his shoulders.
Im quite small so this angle is perfect, he's only slightly smaller than me.
He leans his head towards mine, I try to move away.
"It's okay, I'm nervous too". He smiles at me. He can see the fear on my face.
I take a deep breath.
I move my head down and touch our lips together.
His lips feel like velvet, with the soft tickle of his beard makes this perfect.

Juan's POV

I am so happy. Words cannot describe how I feel at this moment.
We continue to kiss.
I allow myself to relax and Karia relaxes too.
Our tongues dance together in sync.
This couldn't be anymore perfect.
We don't stop. I think we kissed for about 20 mins until my phone rang.
We pull away and look at each other for a second. We both smile. Karia sits on the bed and allows me to answer the phone, it's David.
"Hola, Juan where are you?"
"Em, I'm just out for a walk"
"A walk?"
"Ya"
"Em okay, at five were all going for a meal in the city so tell Karia. PS I know you are in her room and that she's listening, have fun kids see ye at 5".
He hangs us and we both laugh.

We look at each other.
I hold her hand in mine and I smile.
I'm so happy this happened.
I put my hand to her face and place her hair behind he ear. She blushes.
I place a small kiss on her lips. I hold her face in my hands. She's so beautiful. We start to kiss again.
