You and Adam have been friends for over two years now. Today you both decided to go out for lunch since you haven't hung out in a week. You've been having a really bad week. Some other friends kept ditching you and you'd had enough. You dropped them and now you really only had Adam as a friend so hanging out with him is really the only time you get outside of the house. That also means you were anticipating this.

You met up at the little diner that you guys always hung out at. When you sat down and ordered you realized something. You liked Adam. Not in like a friendly way or a sibling way. You loved him. Once you comprehended these feelings you pushed them away. It doesn't matter what you felt towards him you just didn't wanna ruin your friendship with him. He was literally the only friend you had left.

You guys talked about the week and just talked about everything like you always would. This was a soothing feeling because it felt like nothing could break you. You felt strong and curious. You felt loved because Adam wouldn't judge you about these things you could babble on forever.

After you guys had lunch you went back to his place. You decided to play some Xbox and beat him in almost every single game. At one point you were playing Left 4 Dead 2 and you let him die to a tank zombie. You both set down the controllers taking a break when Adam smacks you straight in the face with a couch pillow. You look at him shocked and he starts laughing his ass off. Though as soon as he does your reflexes kick in and you hit straight back turning it into a full out pillow war.

This goes on for about an hour and you see its getting late. You looked outside to see a thunder storm coming. Adam suggested you should just stay over and use the guest room because there was no way he would let you go in that storm.

You unhesitantly oblige and drag your bag upstairs laying down on the nicely made guest bed crumpling it a bit.

You started thinking again and your feelings about Adam hit you again. You knew you were never going to be able to hide them not for long at least so you decided to tell him sooner rather then later. You got up walking back downstairs where Adam was sitting on the couch scrolling through the channels. You sat down next to him looking at him. At this point your cheeks were starting to tint a light pink though he couldn't see in the dimly lit living room.

"Adam, I have to tell you something. I've come to realize that I like you in more then just a friendly way. I know you probably don't feel the same but I just wanted to let you know. I hope this doesn't make things awkward." You said shyly.

He turned and looked at you. His face puzzled at first but soon a small smile on his face. All you thought was 'oh god he silently laughing at me why did I think this was a good idea why did I have to ruin every friendship I had'. He apparently read your face and pulled you close to him so you were practically an inch away.

"(Y/N), your beautiful and kind. Don't think any less of yourself. Since the day we met two years ago I knew I was gonna fall in love with you. Your the light in my world and I wouldn't like anyone else. I don't see flaws just more beautiful details. Never let the darkness reach you because I'll be you light and guide you out. I'll also help you get better friends. I love you

(F/N) (L/N), and I always will." He closed the space between and you never thought there could be a more magical feeling in your entire life than this. After you broke the kiss you looked at him and snuggled into a warm hug. You both fell asleep like that waking up to his friends snapping a picture of you two. That was followed by loud yelling of Adam trying to chase them down for doing that.
