This story is basic in season two after Landon and Hope share a milkshake. Landon is kinda dating Josie but has feelings for Hope even though the never met or so he thinks.

Hope was with the other kids from mystic falls high they were getting ready to challenge the Salvatore scallions everyone else was thinking about winning when all Hope could think about was helping Raf. And well Landon. Once they arrived at the Salvatore school Hope got off the bus and almost instantly met eyes with Landon. Landon smiled and waved at her even though Josie was right there it was like Hope was the only girl in the world. Hope smiled and waved back wishing they could be together again. Josie saw Landon looking at Hope and she got very jealous and after they started playing told Landon to tackle her. "That's aggrieve." Landon said not wanting to hurt Hope. "What do you have a problem hitting her? Because she doesn't seem to have a problem hitting on you." Josie said. "No I'm just trying to be a decent human being." Landon replies before walking into the field. Hope on the other hand was getting her team ready and making sure she would get hurt so she could go look for Raf. Once they started again Hope threw the ball and then Landon ran at her and then put his arm around her waist to break her fall before gently pushing her to the ground. "Good throw." Landon said. Hope smiled slightly. "Thanks." She said before holding her leg. "Ow." She says. Landon helps her up. "Are you okay? I'm so sorry." "It's okay. It's just twisted I'll be okay." Hope said before her nose started pouring blood which was actually Josie's doing. "Hope are you sure you're okay? You're bleeding." Landon said. Hope then saw the blood running down her face she was very confused about what was going on and poor Landon was panicking thinking he actually hurt her bad. "Yeah don't worry Landon I'm okay." She said. Landon didn't believe her so he gently placed a hand on her shoulder and then they stood their staring into each other's eyes for way to long finally Landon break the stare when he asked. "Come on let me take you to the nurse's office." He said. Hope was going to say that it was fine but knew he wouldn't leave until knowing she was okay so she just nods before walking with him. Once they got their the nurse just checked to make sure everything was okay. Landon still scared for her put his hand out for her too hold and as much as they both knew it was wrong Hope held his hand it was nice to have him with her again. After the nurse checked her out she then spoke. "Your going to be fine it was just a little reaction to the magic being used on you." The nurse said. Hope wasn't shaken at all because she was a tribird. "Makes sense. Let me guess a witch?" Hope said knowing it was Josie. "Yes, you'll be okay though you're a strong woman." The nurse said. Hope nods before they walk out. "Wait how do you know about witches?" Landon asked. "Let's just say I come from a long line of supernatural beings." Hope replied. "So your supernatural?" Landon asked as they walked. "Yeah you can say that." Hope said. Landon smiled at her really wanting to know more. "I'm a phoenix, what about you?" He asked. "I'm a lot of things. My dad was the original hybrid, my mom was the crescent queen, and my grandma was a witch so I'm all three." Hope said remembering back to when he first came to the school and they talked. Landon also got flashbacks he was starting to get his memories back. "How are you so powerful yet no one knows you?" Landon asked. Hope tensed up when asked that. "Um.. actually I have to go. I'm going to help your brother." She said. "Then I'm coming with you." Landon said. Hope thought for a minute. "No Landon it isn't safe." She said. "I'm a phoenix so I won't die." He replied. Hope sighs. "Fine but don't get hurt your girlfriend already wants to kill me." She said. Landon seemed to almost get disappointed when Josie was mentioned. "I'm sorry she's acting like this I don't know what's up with her. Also she isn't really my girlfriend." Landon replies. They started to walk to Raf and Landon's room to get something to do a tracking spell to find Raf. Landon handed her a piece of Raf's clothing then Hope cut her hand and did the spell. 2 hours later after they get done fighting the monster they sit down on the dock where they would always use to talk. Landon finally spoke. "Why do I see you everytime I die?" He asked. Hope went to put her hand on his cheek but he then grabbed her hand. She then put her other hand on top of his. Both of their hearts were racing. "You should get back to Josie." Hope said before standing up. Landon then grabbed her hand and she turned around. "Stay." He said. Hope didn't say anything she just nods and sits back down next to him. Landon still had a hold of her hand really not wanting to let go. He then rubbed her cheek with his hand he wasn't sure what possessed him to do that but he loved having her close. Hope started thinking about them and wishing she could tell him everything but she was scared he wouldn't believe her. Her eyes started watering which she instantly blamed on allergies. Landon looks at her. "Hey it's okay." He said before hugging her. Hope didn't say anything she just stayed in his arms and buried her face in his chest. Landon just continued to hold her like that until she calmed down and fell asleep on him. He gently kissed her head and just sat there with her in his arms. That's when he passed out from what was magic being used to bring back the memory of Hope. Later that night they both woke up Landon now having his memories. "Hope mikealson." He said "wait a minute how do you know my last name?" Hope asked confused. "I remember everything." He said really wanting to kiss her and then he remembered Josie and knew he had to end things. Hope was completely silent not sure what to say. "I'll be right back." Landon said before going to Josie. "She's back isn't she?" Josie asked. Landon nods. "Yes, Josie your a amazing person and I'm sorry but I love Hope." Landon said. "I know. And I love Penelope." Josie replied. "Are you okay?" He asked. "Yes now go." Josie said. Landon nodded before going back to Hope. Hope stood there as a hundred different thoughts ran through her mind. "I love you Hope mikealson." Landon said before looking into her eyes. Hope was a little surprised but happy. "I love you too Landon Kirby." She said before they kissed and then just laid on the ground looking up at the stars while holding each other.
