Hope Mikealson is a seventeen year old tribrid. She is known as the school bad girl and some even referred to her as the she devil. Landon Kirby is also seventeen, he is a phoenix and the popular guy who use to date the headmaster's daughter. It was the afternoon on a Saturday when normally Landon would be hangout with his friends and Hope would be off somewhere painting or drinking and partying her pain away but instead Hope, Landon, Josie, and Penelope were in detention. Hope was sitting at her desk messing around with her hands. Landon was sitting there waiting to be told what to do. Alaric then walked into the classroom. "Good morning students. Well you all know why your here. So first you're going to sit here quietly at your desks and write essays and then your going to go clean up trash in town. You have to work together." Alaric said. "Great I call Penelope." Hope said as her and Penelope where best friends and she hated Josie and had feelings for Landon. "Nope not going to happen Hope you and Landon will work together." Alaric said. "Shit." Hope mumbles to herself before having a flashback of the night before. The way their lips were up against each other's and the way he touch her made Hope bite her lip just thinking about it. "Hope, did you listen to a word I said?" Alaric asked. "Hmm? Oh yeah I did." Hope said as Landon glanced over at her smiling to himself that he got to go with her. He would never tell but he was secretly in love with her, yep that's right the popular good boy was in love with the she devil herself. "Chop chop let's go." Penelope said getting annoyed she had to work on a Saturday. "Let's get this over with" Hope mumbles before walking out. After they arrive in mystic falls Hope and Landon go off in their own to pick up trash as they did Landon started. "Why do you hate Josie so much?" He asked. "She hit me first." Hope said the truth was she wasn't actually that evil just a broken girl her needed someone to love her. "That wasn't the question though." Landon said looking at her. "It doesn't matter anyway no one believes me over little miss perfect anyway." Hope says kinda getting annoyed. Landon sighed knowing she had a point never once did they listen to her side of the story. "Hope I'm sorry." He said. "I don't hate her but~" Hope started but cut herself off. "But what?" Landon asked. "Nothing um you wanna get out of here?" She asked. Landon chuckled softly. "Yeah sure, but won't we get in more trouble?" He asked. Hope nodded. "Oh most definitely but do I care? Nope. So are you coming or not?" Hope asked as she walked. "Oh yeah definitely." Landon said before following her. They arrived at a house which belonged to Hope's family because she unlocked the door before walking in. "Woah this place is huge." Landon said in shock. "Yeah it is, my family owns it." Hope said. "It's nice, so what exactly are we doing here?" Landon asked. "Don't worry I'm not gonna kill you for starters." Hope said causing Landon to chuckle slightly he knew she wouldn't even though everyone called her evil she had never actually killed anyone on purpose. "Oh I know." He said. Hope looked at him with a confused look on her face. "You do?" She asked. Landon nodded. "Yeah of course, Hope your not a killer and I know that. Your really not even that bad you know I mean I know this is surprising coming from the guy that dated the girl you threw across the yard but you not that bad." Landon said but the expression on Hope's face changed. "I told you she hit me first." She mumbles before pulling up her sleeves reviling second degree burn marks on her arms. "That's what your girlfriend did, I threw her to get her away from me." Hope said knowing he wasn't going to believe her no one ever did. Landon looked sadden by the slight of that understanding how bad it probably hurt her while she was taking all the blame. "I'm sorry Hope I didn't know." He said before stroking her cheek with his thumb. Hope was shocked but liked the way it felt it almost comforted her. "Also Josie isn't my girlfriend we broke up over a month ago." He added. "Wait really? Why?" Hope asked. "I love someone else." Landon said before moving closer to her. "You do?" She asked pulling closer to him. "Yeah." He said. "Wait then why are we?" Hope asked backing up knowing their was no change he was talking about her. Landon goes to speak "Because Hope I~" he starts but she turns her head anyway. "We've been hooking up for the past week and your in love with someone? We should get back to school." Hope said quickly before walking to the door feeling heart broken she knew all Landon's friends hated her so I mean did she really stand a chance anyway? After walking back to the school for the rest of day Hope was more bitter  then she normally was she was getting into more fighting and pretty much drank as much as possible without throwing up. Landon on the other hand was just in his room feeling like an idiot for not telling Hope he loved her. The next day Hope was out in the backyard doing fighting with Josie. "Oh what is it did you really think he would love you?" Josie asked before laughing. "I mean look at you you're a freak." She added. Hope knew she was right but still wanted to fight. "And your a cheater and liar not like you can talk. Oh wait well at least he'll actually sleep with me." Hope says knowing that would get under her skin. "You bitch." Josie said before throwing fire at  her but she then ended up fighting with her it wasn't pretty both of them were cover in blood and Hope was about to hit her again before hearing a voice. "Don't, your not a bad guy don't make  confirm the lies they all believe." Landon said from behind her. Hope's eyes were glowing yellow but she then backed up to Landon's surprise. Landon helped Josie up but then turned to Hope she seemed upset which made Landon not be able to be mad at her and wanted to hear her side. Which made Josie furious because her ex boyfriend was taking her enemy's side instead of her own. "Could you come with me please?"  Landon asked looking at Hope. Hope said nothing but nodded while she waited for him. Landon walked into his room as Hope followed. "Sit please." Landon said in a soft voice Hope normally wouldn't but decided to listen and sat on his bed. Landon then took a wet washcloth and gently started to whip the blood off her face. "What are you doing?" Hope asked slightly confused that hadn't happen before. "Just relax and let me take care of you." Landon said before finishing cleaning up her wounds. "Why are you helping me instead of Josie?" She asked. "Because your wounds are worse and I know no one else will." Landon said with a sigh before sitting next to her. "Thank you." Hope said in a quiet voice before staring down at her feet. "Hope what's wrong?" Landon asked telling that the whole bad girl thing was only an act to mask her true emotions. "Nothing I'm fine." Hope said trying her best not to let her emotions show. "Babygirl please?" Landon asked in a soft voice trying to get her where she would open up. "It's fine, I'll be fine." Hope mumbles as she stares down at the ground trying to think of what to do she knew how much trouble she was going to be in for that fight with Josie and knew everyone in the school would take her side. 'Why would they take Hope's side after all she was the evil daughter of Klaus Mikealson' she thought to herself. Landon still wasn't going to ignore it. "What really happened? I know this isn't you." He said. "It is now." Hope said. "No it isn't, I know you Hope Mikealson, your not some evil monster that everyone plays you out to be." He said. Hope then looked up at him with her blue eyes that had a cut underneath one of them from the fight, tears started rolling down her cheeks. "Who am I then?" She asked. Landon placed his hand on her cheek and whipped her eyes. "Your a beautiful amazing woman who has been though a lot of shit, and to afraid to let anyone in because of people always hurting you. But I know one thing your not evil, and your not a monster." Landon said as he rubbed her cheek but Hope cried a little more. "I'm sorry Landon. I'm so sorry for everything." She said as her voice broke. Landon hugged her closely. "It's okay babygirl, I forgive you." He said as Hope just cried into his chest after away they ended up falling asleep rapped in each other's arms...
