Intro to Kagehina

{Hinata POV}

The bell signaled time for the lunch room to open, as I take a seat next to Kenma. He looks up for a split second from his switch, and immediately goes back.

"Hey I saw you dancing with Bokuto earlier!" I say, starting up a conversation.

"Yeah he's a good base I guess" He says unenthusiastically.

"Is he better than Kuroo though?!" I say raising my eyebrows. I know Kenma has a crush on Kuroo even if it's the smallest thing. Since every time Kuroo comes around Kenma talks to him, I try to eat lunch with him before that happens.

Me and Kenma have been friends ever since I joined HBDA around 5 years ago. During this time I also met my boyfriend, Kageyama Tobio.

Since they are in the same class, Kageyama usually gets here around the time Kuroo does. While me and Kenma chat and eat, someone sits down on the other side of Kenma. I look up from my food and see Akaashi sitting in front of me.

I look to the left and see Bokuto standing, waiting for an invitation to sit down. He looks like a little puppy begging for food. (Akaashi's food haha😼)

I pat the spot next to me and tell him to have a seat. I've heard about him in the news and apparently he's very popular and energized.

"Hey thanks! You're Hinata Shoyo right?" He asks cocking his head like an owl.

"Yeah! I already know your name Bokuto-san!" I say laughing a little.

Akaashi and Kenma have their own conversation while me and Bokuto get to know each other. My eyes open wide when I realize why Bokuto has been glancing across the table multiple times....

HE LIKES AKAASHI!

He notices my expression change and asks,
"What's wrong? You look shocked Hinata?" He says, completely unaware of his actions.

"I-um.... I think Kageyama and Kuroo should be coming back soon." I say successfully changing the subject.

"Oh yeah aren't you and Tobio dating?" he asks cocking his head again. He should seriously stop doing that, it really makes him owl-like.

"Yep! 3 years strong in fact!" I say proudly.

I see them walk in out of the corner of my eye so I duck under the table as fast as possible. I assume Bokuto looks puzzled but Akaashi and Kenma are used to it. I put up a finger to my mouth as Kageyama and Kuroo arrive.

"Where's Hinata?" I hear Kageyama say.

"Oh he went to the bathroom. He said you can just wait for him next to Bokuto-san if you want." Akaashi says, saving my butt like he usually does.

I have decided to prank my boyfriend, like I usually do. He sits down and starts to eat his lunch. I crawl to the back of his chair, pop up, and shake his shoulders roughly.

He chokes on his water and turn around in shock. I stand there smiling like a mad man ready for what he will do next.

"BOKE HINATA STOP DOING THAT I COULD'VE DIED!" he yelled, the whole lunchroom hearing. They don't really care because it's usually loud anyway.

Everyone at the table is laughing, except for Tobio of course. He turns around in embarrassment as I wrap my arms around his neck. He crosses his arms as I ask,
"How was tap practice today?"

"It was good, I learned a few new combos today that we might take to a competition." He says in a pouty mood.

"Oh stop being pouty. You scared me yesterday
bakageyama." I say which puts a smile on his face.
