Gai wasn't feeling well and Lee was with Naruto and Sai doing a mission. Tenten and Neji was training. Neji was losing. He couldn't get his mind straight. Soon Tenten stopped and walked up to Neji.
"N-Neji... are you okay?" Tenten asked. Neji stared at Tenten. He couldn't form his words.
"Neji?" Tenten tilted her head. Neji shook her head.
"Gomen. I'm tired." Neji said. Tenten furrowed her eyebrows. Neji was never tired.
"M'kay. Why don't we call it day and go hang out? Maybe eat some ramen... or maybe a da- walk." Tenten said. Neji nodded. Neji looked fine on the outside. The inside? He was practically freaking out. Neji sighed.
"What do I say...?" Neji asked himself. He took a deep breath. He then grabbed Tenten’s hand.
"N-Nej- WAH!" Neji had swooped Tenten off the ground and held Tenten bridal style. He them hopped away.

Neji went to the forest and set down Tenten.
"N-NEJI!!" Tenten yelled. "WHAT WAS THAT FOR?" Tenten yelled. Neji furrowed his eyebrow. Tenten was yelling till Neji covered Tenten’s mouth.
"Can you stop yelling and let me explain?" Neji asked. Tenten was quiet.
"Baka..." Tenten muttered under her breath. Neji was quiet. He didn't plan this out. He moved his hand to do something but then hesitanted. He tried to say something but hesitanted.
"God Damnit! Why was this so hard!" Neji cursed at himself.
"Oh." Tenten said. She understood what Neji wanted to say. She nervously grabbed Neji's hands. However Neji jerked it back.
"I- gomen." Tenten mumbled.
"Maybe I should go home. Gomem Neji." Tenten ran off.
"W-WAit..." Neji yelled. He then hit himself.
