Finding a dream

Everyone was panicking and searching, 'why?' you may ask? Let's just say a certain piglin has gone missing. But what the didn't know is that Michael had gone into the dark forest, a place everyone is to scared to go into. But not little Michael he had seen a person about the size of a teenager go in. So being the little curious thing he was, he followed him.

/Dreams pov\

I could feel something following me, sounds like a.... Piglin? Going into the shadows I turn to see a zombie piglin, 'oh, wait is that the kid I see in that city?' I can see he looks confused so I exit the shadows some what scaring him enough to fall on his bum. He covers his face with his arms as if afraid I might hurt him. I put a hand on his head, petting him. He lowers his guard looking at my mask. I tilt my head and so does he, I stand and help him up. I heard his stomach rumble, I instantly get a flashback to those monsters that had existed all those years ago, trying to eat me out of hunger. I quickly motion for him to follow me.

when we reached my house I gave him some soup and bread along with some beef. He began eating, soon enough it was gone 'guess he liked it.'. "Hey mister, who are you?" I freeze, I take a piece of paper and write the name 'Dream' on it and hand it to him. "So your name is Dream? Cool! I'm Michael!" I nodded "1. Are you able to talk or 2. You can talk you just don't like to?" I hold up two fingers "Ok, are there any signals you use?" I nod and grab a book 'Yes I do have signals, when I do them you will know what they mean since I did live with some zombie piglins way back when. But there are some others that will need explaining.' I hand him the book. "Oooohhh, would you mind teaching me them?" he hands me the book, 'Not at all Michael.'.

*time skip after teaching him everything.*

After a while I started talking bit by bit, "Hey mike." "Yes?" "Would you like to have a mind link with me so we can talk to each other?" He looked really happy, "Yesyesyesyes!" "ok, ok be still" he holds still as I use charcoal to make an eye shape on his forehead, it soon starts glowing and the disappears. "Is it done?" I nod Michael smiles then frowns, "Wait what time is it?" "Around 4am why?" that's when I remembered, the people in the city. "How about I give you a lift and bring you home?" Michael nodded fast. He hops on my back, "Ok I haven't used this a while." 

I began to imagine the front of his house closing my eyes, 'Michael close your eyes' I felt him nod. soon we were in front of his house. 'Ok we're here you can open them, just walk up to the door and knock or something. If you need me you know where to find me' he nods getting off my back walking up to the porch he turns and waves as I disappear, I wave him off and shifted home.

/Michael pov\

I waved Mr. Dream goodbye as he disappeared soon going up to the door, that's when I hear people crying. I knocked, and it went quiet. I heard footsteps coming to the door, they stopped and the door creaked open. "Michael?!" Dad pulled me into a hug. "Dad, I'm sorry that I wondered off." "It's ok as long as you never do that again, ok?" "I won't." I looked at all the people behind him looking thankful. Then I spot techno looking confused, "Uncle techno, are you okay?" "Yes, but please explain why I can smell someone on you?" Dad pulled away from the hug and he sat me on the couch closing the door. "Wait, did someone kidnap you?!" "No, I got lost in the woods again, but a person helped me get home." I lied to them. "Well did they give you their name? Because this scent isn't familiar, It smells sweet, but-" "Bloody? Yeah I noticed, I saw that he had a lot of bandages. I think he is hurt, but he acted as if it was just fine. Like he wasn't even hurt.". "Maybe he needs help, we should go find him.". "Well, Michael why don't you go to bed." I nodded going up the stairs and going to my room while saying my goodbyes and goodnights.

I hopped into bed hoping to be able to see Uncle Dream again. I hear everyone leaving the house, I get up after they left and grab some paper and some coal pencils. I draw Uncle Dream guiding me to his house and teaching me the signals. I heard the front door open and put everything away, hiding the drawings and putting the pencils back where they were and hopped back into my bed. I closed my eyes and hear my door open, and I hear hoofs so it's just Dad he walks up to my bed and I slowly turn to him acting tired. "Love you big man, night night." He says as he kisses my forehead, Father walks into the room and wishes me goodnight and kisses me on the forehead as well. They leave the room and wave back a me. I cuddle into the pillow and fall asleep.
