"What is she wearing?"

"Are you seeing what I'm seeing?"

"Who is she?" That's all you could hear as you made your way through the main lobby of your new work place.

Truth be told, it took you a lot of courage to change your look today. After what happened yesterday, you knew that your turtleneck was not going to be accepted today.

Obviously, you didn't go in to work with your burns on show but, you did find something else to try.

You still wore your black work pants that was given to you by the company and instead of a short sleeved office shirt, you opted it out for a long sleeved one. As for your neck, however, you needed something to cover it.

And that is how you bought the thickest tribe golden necklace to wear today.

It covered your neck completely but you knew that it was embarrassing. You'd rather wear that than show your burns.

Once you entered the lift, you let out a huge sigh of relief as you got away from everyone's sight.

You may even result to staying on the Shadow floor for lunch time, not wanting to risk going down to become a spectacle for everyone to gawk at.

The lift shook a little but you were already used to it by now and waited for the doors to slide open to reveal the very dark floor.

As you made your way over, you eyed CEO Min's door cautiously, getting ready just in case if he were to pop out and see you.

But then you got to thinking.

I don't see him coming in to work... does he come extremely early?

You came to work around 8AM which had meant that your boss would come much earlier. Same goes for when you leave work, it seems that he leaves much after you.

The only time you see him is when he leaves for lunch.

Feeling much safer, you went behind your desk and began your daily routine of checking emails and confirming appointments.

That was until the telephone rang lighting blue, meaning someone from this company was calling.

"Hello?"

"This is the marketing team,
can you please get CEO Min down here? It's really urgent
and he's not answering
his phone!"

"I'll leave a message for him-"

"That won't do! This is a life
or death situation for the company! You need to personally go
to him and get him down here!"

And with that, they hung up.

Frozen in confusion, you tried to comprehend what just happened while slowly letting your eyes trail towards his black door across the lobby.

The employee sounded like he was in grave danger so... surely it was okay for you to knock on his door?

Then again, why isn't CEO Min not answering his phone? Is he in danger himself?!
