I actually made this story for my sister!

Y/N is based off of her since she was a burn victim too and I wanted to normalise this.

I never read a book about people talking about burn victims and my sister couldn't relate to anyone.

The story isn't the same as to what actually happened to my sister but there are some similarities.

If you guys want, I can ask my sister to write about what happened to her in her own words (if she's comfortable with it).

So once again, this story was to give insight to burn victims and to please not to treat them any differently.
