Nexis was now comforting Light, the two of them sitting on the couch. Light was curled up on his lap, a blanket wrapped around the two as the smaller clutched onto Nexis's sweator like a lifeline.
Nexis had not once left the smaller, protectively holding the child closer. He wouldn't accept Ink's apologies, not even when Ink would beg him.
Ink didn't deserve his forgiveness.. Not until he righted his wrongs.
Until then, InK was off Nexis' friend list.
No one could even pry Nexis away, him stubbornly staying put. After a while, everyone eventually just gave up trying.
There was a quiet knock at the door, catching the attentions of practically everyone in the room. They looked at eachother curiously, before Blue stop up with a large grin on his face," Oh! My friend's here!"
Everyone watched as Blue opened the door, dragging whoever was on the other side into the room by their sleeve.
All the 'good guys' tensed up as the person was revealed to be Reaper Sans, who looked just as confused as they were.
Reaper looked at Blue, hesitating before speaking," U-uhm... B-blue, y-you said you needed me to c-come over to Outertale for some reason...?"
Blue nodded, chirping as he led Reaper over to where Light and Nexis were sitting," Yup! A future kid of yours from a different multiverse is here! Since your a version of their dad, I thought it was a magnificent idea for you to help!"
Reaper's eyesockets widened, him looking down at the two smaller skeleton's. Light's eyelights shown brightly, him making a happy noise while asking," I-is that really this multiverse's version of my Papa?"
Nexis nodded, smiling happily," Yep!"
The smallest skeleton in the room squealed, jumping out of Nexis's arms into the arms of the other while exclaiming," Yay!"
Reaper jumped, his raven black wings fluffing up in surprise. He hesitated, frozen in place. He, after a moment, slowly wrapped his arms around the child, hugging them back with a look of pure happiness on his face.
In all honesty, Nexis thought that the expression made Reaper look younger.... And... Cuter? Usually, Reaper looked so dead inside...
At least, that's what he remembered anyways.
