Izaya's twin sister

Chapter 1

It was a quiet day in Ikebukuro. I only arrived the night before. I only remember a few things, my friends, my twin brother (sorta) and twin sisters and my own name. I heard what sounds like a fight coming from around the corner. So my natural curiosity got the best of me and I followed the sounds of the fighting.

My name is Daniella Orihara.

There were two males. One was for sure Shizuo because of his blonde hair and bartender outfit, and I think the other male is my twin brother, but I'm not entirely sure. The male in the fur-outlined jacket spotted me and held a knife to my throat. "Shizu-chan, watch as I slit the throat of this woman" the man said sadistically to Shizuo, who looked at me and somehow knew it were me. "Dani?" he said looking at the male who had a switchblade to my throat.

"Please let me go" I pleaded. He didn't listen and pressed it harder when Shizu stepped closer. "Not another step, or she------well, well, well, if it isn't my twin sister. *smirks* Now, Shizu-chan, what will you do? Be the big brave hero and save my own sister from me? Or be the big dumb idiot and watch as I slit her throat? What will you do?" the male threatened. Shizu-kun stopped in his tracks. "Izaya, you know that I know you could never harm your own sister" Shi-kun said to the one called Izaya.

"Oh Shizu-chan, you never learn do you? Here take my sister" Izaya said throwing me into Shizuo. I felt myself wanting to cry, so I ran away until I find myself face-to-face with what I can only assume to be the headless rider. "You ok there?" she typed on her phone. I shook my head 'no' and I fell to the ground crying and the next thing I knew, she was hugging me. "Don't cry, everything's going to be ok. I hate seeing people cry" she once again typed out.

So she takes me to a really good coffee shop and bought me an iced mocha cappuccino. On our way out, we see Shizuo walking in. "Oh, hey Celty" he said to the one called Celty. She waved a 'hi' at him. "Dani, are you ok?" Shizuo asked me. I hugged Shizuo and he hugged back.

"I'll leave you two alone" Celty typed out on her phone and left on her bike and went back to her home.

We sat outside when this guy with glasses walked in our direction. "Shizuo, who's the girl?" his friend asked Shizuo. "Tom, this is Daniella, she's a good friend of mine" Shizuo addressed the one called Tom. I looked at Tom and then back at Shizuo. I took another sip of my iced mocha cappuccino and decided to go on a walk, which was a bad idea.

"I'll be right back" I say to Shizuo, who only nods and talks with Tom.

{Shizuo's p.o.v.}

"I'll be right back" Daniella told me. I only nodded and talked with Tom. Just three blocks down, we heard Dani scream. Tom and myself ran to the screaming and see the Blue Squares trying to kill Daniella. I got really pissed off when I saw them stabbing her.

She refused to go with them so they stabbed her in the side and she was laying in a pool of her own blood. "Daniella?" Tom called her name, then listened for a heartbeat and thank god there was one. "Get her outta here!" I say grabbing a street sign, and swinging it into the side of the one who stabbed her.

{Tom's p.o.v.}

I picked her up and ran to Shinra's place. "Can I help you?" Celty asked typing on her phone. After I caught my breath, I told her what happened. She was still bleeding when I laid her on their couch. "I just saw this girl earlier today" she typed out again.

I nodded.

"I'll have Shinra stitch her right up" Celty texted him. He came as quickly as he was texted. Once I explained what happened, he got to work.

{5 min later}

"One more stitch........and there, all stitched up" he says placing the sewing stuff down, on a reflective table. "I'm so sorry for troubling you guys with this" I said. "It's no trouble, really" Celty typed out. "She's going to have to stay here overnight" Shinra said. I nodded.

Just then, the door was busted down and in came Shizuo, looking beat up himself, like always. "Tom, how is she?" Shizuo asked me. "She's going to have to stay here overnight, his words not mine" I said, pointing to the one who stitched her up.

"I see. Hey Shinra, can I go see her?" Shizuo asked Shinra. Shinra nodded and took him to her room. "You like this girl, don't you~?" Shinra teased him. "Shut up, pervert" Shizuo said, grabbing Shinra's shirt. I placed a hand on his shoulder and told him to calm down, and go in and see Daniella.

{Dani's p.o.v.}

I woke up in a strange room, kinda panicked, until I looked up and saw a familiar face. "Wh-where am I?" I asked, panicked. "A friend of mine's apartment, Dani" Shi-kun said, sitting next to me on the floor.

"Oh, ok. *notices blood on his shirt* What happened? Your shirt is bloodied. Are you ok, Shi-kun?" I asked him. "Huh? Oh this? I just had the shit beat out of by the guys who hurt you" he said, placing a hand on my shoulder. Just as he was about to leave, I clutched his shirt. "Don't go. I want you to stay until I fall asleep, please" I gave him puppy eyes. "Yeah, I can do that, Dani" Shizu-kun said.

The next morning, I woke up and saw a sleeping Shizuo. I smiled softly at the sight. Just then, the door opened and in walked a man in a white lab coat. "Oh, you're awake. I'm Dr. Shinra Kishitani, I'm a doctor. You came in here yesterday all cut up, but I stitched you right up. Don't do anything that could reopen your stitches, ok?" Shinra said, as Shi-chan woke up. I nodded and snickered at Shizu-kun's bedhead.

"Who the hell's talking?" Shizu-kun asked groggily. "Oh, Shizuo, hi" Shinra said. "Hey" was all that came out of his mouth before adjusting his gaze at me. "Shi-kun, you a case of bedhead, bad" I tried not to giggle, but I couldn't help it. Shinra gave him a comb and Shizu combed his bedhead.

"Thanks" Shi-chan said. Shinra nodded and left so Shizu and I could talk. "What happened after I blacked out?" I asked Shizu-kun. "Well, let's see. Tom and I were talking when we heard you scream. We ran towards where we heard you scream and we saw you nearly on death's door and I told Tom to get you out of there, as I beat the shit out of the guys who hurt you. You want me to stop?" he asked, noticing my widened eyes. "N-no" I said, shakily.

"So then one of them slashed at my chest, and I threw him to who-knows-where and then the others became like cowards and ran off, saying things like 'we're gonna tell our boss' and 'you're gonna regret messing with us, barkeep' or something like that. All that mattered to me was knowing you were going to be alright, Dani" Shi-kun said, standing up so he could leave. Once he left, the doctor and he were talking about me. After a little while of sitting on my futon, I realized that I had to use the bathroom, so I slowly got up and made my way to the bathroom and when I was on my way back to my room, I got stopped by the headless rider. "Why are you out of bed? You should be resting" Celty typed out. She then helped me back to my room and laid me down on the futon.

"Well, I-I-I had use the bathroom, like bad" I said. "Well, why didn't you just call and I could've walked you to the bathroom and back" Celty typed, making it look like she was a little mad that I got up and walked to the bathroom by myself. "S-sorry" I stammered. "I didn't mean to yell, I'm sorry" Celty typed out. "Its ok, Celty, really" I said, waving my hands in front of my face.

The rest of the day was fairly quiet, except a few stray patients. Around lunchtime, Celty came in and gave me some Russia Sushi and a medium Sprite. I nodded a 'thanks' and she left me alone to eat.

Shinra came in and asked me my name and what I remembered from yesterday and I told him the information he needed and he nods and leaves.

After I finished my lunch, I was visited by a couple of girls who looked similar to the guy that had a switchblade to my throat. "I told you she was here, Kururi" the one with glasses said. "Mairu, are you sure that this is really our sister?" the one called Kururi said. "I never forget a face, especially if it's our sister!" Mairu exclaimed. She got sprayed with pepper spray.
