I walk back to my dorm, just me and my thoughts. Kennedy and I have had the same dorm since year one, you can choose who you share a room with and which room so we just had the same every year. As I walk to through the halls I hear chatter from students who are excited for the new year (mostly first years) and year sevens who are happy that it's their last year.

I put the key in the slot and hear a click I push open the door to our dorm room and see Kennedy putting her clothes away and already getting settled in. She immediately turned her head and ran over to me "SO WHAT DID HE SAY!" she was yelling "Kennedy calm down i'm right here no need to yell." I said in attempt to calm her down, "sorry, sorry I just want to know if I should teach him a lesson" she said angrily.

I'm so grateful that Kennedy is my best friend she is always been there for me when I need it. Like when me and Harry were having some drama over the summer even though she wasn't in England she was still very supportive and loving.

"um well I didn't really catch everything he said, but he said we should at least try and be friends." I said and she had on a kinda annoyed look on her face. "well are you?" she said questioningly but I know she wants me to say no "umm not sure I think i will-" ARE YOU SERIOUS HAL!" she interrupted me "I know how upset you were over the summer and your just gonna forgive him like that" she stopped yelling but it didn't make me feel any better. "well i'm sure he's changed Kennedy, he really seemed to regret what he done and I know harry means well." I said lowly "but Halle I don't want to you to get hurt again" she said.

I know Kennedy means well and doesn't want me to get hurt again. And she is right I was crying for so long when I heard what he had done.

silence lingered the room, when a knock emits from our door Kennedy walks over to answer and swings it open to see a familiar face. My brother Elijah he's in his 5th year and he too is a Ravenclaw like us he's super intelligent and a super sweet boy.

"Hey blondie wanna smoke?" he said as a smile grew on his face and let himself into the room. "I brought everything and anything you can smoke and fire whiskey to celebrate the first day back." he said excitedly. We laughed and he rolled a joint and handed it to me. I took a long inhale and I instantly felt relaxed even though i wasn't stressed.

We took turns passing the joint and laughing at each others stupid jokes and what not. "I have to go the the bathroom, i'll be back" I said as i got up and walked away.

Kennedy Spencer

Halle left to the bathroom leaving me and Elijah left together. Elijah sat up and said "Hey Kennedy can I be honest with you." his words were slurred he was really high and it showed his eyes were dilated and his sclera's were really red. "um yeah sure go ahead" I said nervously not prepared for his upcoming words "I think your really beautiful, like everything about you, your emerald green eyes and your pale blonde hair, just everything about you is so beautiful ken do you know that."

He said so confidently but I didn't know what to say that he's my best friends brother I don't know how I feel about this. "umm d-do you mean that, like e-everything you just said." I stuttered a lot I do it when i'm uncomfortable or nervous. "I mean't every word that just came out of my mouth." he sounded like he really mean't it but just to make sure i'll ask him when he's not high.

Soon enough the night ended with everyone being high or drunk or maybe a little bit of both. We had classes the next day and I knew I was gonna regret this the next morning but whatever. Things got a little weird between me and Elijah when he said that but I wasn't planning on telling Halle, well at least not for now.
