Third Person POV:

George looks up to the sky to see that it's mid-day, and turns back to Clay. "It's getting late, we should start packing up for the trip." Clay looks down at George, confused, "trip...?" George mentally facepalms for forgetting to tell Clay, "the supply run, Darryl needs more supplies because he's low and he's always taking care of you guys." Clay just mouths an "oh" and starts to get up. Once he is up he extends a hand to George, which the shorter male happily takes. They start walking hand in hand to a newer building George hasn't seen before. George guesses that it's just a building meant for errands, to which he was correct. But there was more than he was expecting.

Once they got into the building Nick was already waiting for them there. He eyes George and Clay with a smug grin on his face. "The kids told us what they saw," Nick says, while George looks down with a pink face. "Of course we already knew what was happening." It was then Clay's turn to get pink now. "Shut up... just start preparing for the trip." They split up and start packing up what they needed. George starts to head deeper into the building, he notices a sign that says "stable". His face immediately lights up. He quickly walks over to the horse, its fur, a beautiful bright white with an off-white mane and tail. The horse busy with eating looks up from its snack to look at George. George reaches out and lightly touches the horse's muzzle. He smiles and backs away knowing what horse he was going to ride on the trip, going back to work in the process.

Once they finished packing it was already starting to get dark. So they parted ways with their ready supplies and headed back to their sleeping quarters. On the way back George kept fumbling with the hem of his dress shirt nervous for when they arrived. No one noticed him fidgeting, or so he thought.

They got back to the quarters and Ranboo noticed George's nervousness. So he took the initiative to take him by the hand and out the door to sit under a nearby tree. He takes both of George's hands and looks him straight in the eyes with a serious look on his face. "What's wrong?" George was surprised by Ranboo, but he just avoided his eyes from the red and green ones staring holes into him. "I'm just nervous that's all." He looks at George with sympathy, "but it's not, and you know that." George slowly looks up to the tall teenager, "I'm just scared," he mumbles. Ranboo smiles, finally getting something out of him. "What are you scared about?"

"I'm scared about going back. Back to the castle, I can't face them yet." Ranboo is a bit confused but continues to press him, to try to get him to confess. "Face who exactly?"

"My parents, the king, and queen." George mumbles. The taller's mouth drops. He's in shock, about what he just heard. "So you're royalty?" George just nods. He continues to press, even more, trying to get George to go a bit over his limit. He says this while sitting down, "why don't you want to face them?" George looks down and grumbles, "they don't support me, they don't support anything I do. They only want me to be the heir, even though they have my older brother who would be better, a better ruler. They want me to be ruler because they think I'm 'normal' as they would put it." Ranboo just sits and listens to George's ramble, letting him get it all out of his system. Without interrupting once, or even letting go of his hands.

"They even went as far as killing the person that I admired most," George starts to stumble over his words, trying to hold in his tears. "They k-killed h-him, t-t-they... k-killed the p-person who w-was m-more o-of a f-f-father figure than m-my o-own w-was." At this point, George had tears streaming down his face. Ranboo just nodded. George smiled weakly, "s-sorry..." The other just smiled, "it's alright, everyone needs to get things off their chest once in a while." George let his hands drift to his face and wipe the salty tears from his vision, clearing it. He lays back on the grass closing his eyes while Ranboo lays next to him looking up at the stars. Everyone was a bit worried about the two so they went outside and saw them looking up at the stars, smiles on their faces. So they all decided to lay down on the grass and point out constellations in the sky. "Tommy look!" Tubbo points, "it's the big dipper!" Ranboo perks in, "even Orion!" George just giggled at the three joining, and pointing at the stars. Phil, Techno, and Wilbur were all leaning up against the tree quietly conversing. Nick and Clay were next to George, playing thumb wars, which the teens wanted to join in on. Soon it was a giant competition where everyone was joining in. Except for Clay and George who backed up a little ways away to talk. Clay rubs his thumb under George's eyes, "why are your eyes puffy?" George just smiles, "Don't worry, I'm just a bit tired." Clay just nods, taking his hands off the other's face, putting them on his hips instead, and pulling him closer to the point where he was on his lap. George's red face couldn't be seen by Clay but his red ears were very visible. The taller just chuckles and rests his chin on the other's head sighing. "If only we could stay like this forever," he whispers. George leans into Clay's chest more, "if only." George sighs, feeling drowsiness take him over and he falls asleep in Clay's arms.

Ranboo's POV:

I look over to see the two asleep in each other's arms. I smile seeing that they are happy with each other. "Hey, Ranboo!" I turn to see Tommy and Tubbo waving me over. I get up and walk over to them, they have Phil 'captured'. My smile grows, seeing that he has his wings out for people to see. "Don't touch them, or you will feel the consequences, well, except for Darryl and George, they need to treat them sometimes." I see Darryl and Zak lying on the ground hand in hand, gazing at each other and the stars. I look back over to the others, Phil has stood up and wobbled over to me. He is close, I jump when he wraps his arms under mine, lifting me in the process. In a couple of seconds, I'm off the ground my legs dangling in the air ten feet off the ground. Phil sees my expression and starts laughing. Tommy and Tubbo stare at me with wide eyes, their eyes are so full of excitement. I start to laugh, shaking off the feeling of not being on the ground.

I haven't had this much fun in ages, it feels amazing to have friends like family, it's also good to leave things behind... sometimes.

Let me just tell you guys something. I am in LOVE with this story. I love how proud I am of it. I haven't been this proud of a story for a while, I'm also trying to make this as long as I can so I can have something to beat later on in the future.
