At your home:
you were in your living room watching bungou stray dogs and waiting for kenma to pick you up. it took him about a couple of hours to drive to your place.
a couple minutes later... you heard a knock on your door, you turned your head and you jumped up from the couch, running towards the door and opening it.
"hi, kenma!" you say, pulling a small smile on your face.
"hello, y/n." kenma eyes softened when he first saw you. He knew he saw you before but he couldn't remember where he saw you.
you picked up your bag and your keys, walking outside and locking the door. you followed kenma to his car and you both entered the vehicle, he started the engine and he drove off.
"how is your life going?" kenma asked, breaking the awkwardness tension between you both.
"it's going great, just applied for a job..."
"oh- when is your interview?" kenma asked, focusing on the road.
"next week friday actually!" you say, nervously laughing.
"well, i hope you get in!"
"please please pray for me!" i say, begging him.
kenma chuckled and glanced at you.
"ofc, I will pray for you," he says. you thanked him and mentally smiled to yourself. kenma found it cute that you were begging him.
the rest of the ride to kenma's house, you and him were talking back and forth. you got to know him a lot more.
TIMESKIP~
kenma unlocked the front door with his keys and he opened the door.
"ladies first" kenma smiled.
you smiled and slipped off your shoes. you walked into his warm, comfortable home. the kitchen and living room lights were on, kenma shut the door behind him.
kenma gently grabbed your hand and he took you to the living room. you slightly blushed when he took your hand, he had soft baby hands, the back of his hand was rough and you could feel his ring rubbing against your palm.
when you both reached the living room you both sat down.
"osamu and kuroo are here right now. i think they went shopping but they forgot to turn off the lights" kenma sighed.
