As the party was coming to an end, you got a text from kenma. Of course, you didn't know because your phone was charging inside your house while you were cleaning your backyard. However, oikawa just came out of the bathroom, he noticed that your phone made a noise. He decided to be nosy and he checked who texted you.

'Hmm, wonder who could have texted you at 12 am?' oikawa thought.

Oikawa went up to where your phone was charging and he saw the text message. 2 new messages from 'kenma <3'

'Kenma... who's that? Another person i don't know?' he thought.

Luckily, your phone didn't show what kenma texted, it just popped up as '2 imessages'. If he wanted to see the messages he would have to unlock your phone, he was kinda frustrated at that, he was pretty curious what this person said to you.

"OIKAWA, GET OUT HERE AND HELP US CLEAN YOU IDIOT" iwaizumi screamed.

"Agh, i'm coming!" oikawa ran out the door. As he ran out the door, he started helping out. As you were struggling to carry out the chairs, oikawa decided to take it off of your hands.

"Here, let me help you out, you look like you are struggling," oikawa says.

"What- no, i wasn't struggling, you are just seeing things but thanks for the help"

"Yeah sure... anyways where do you want me to put these?" he says. You pointed to the spot where the chairs came from and you smiled at oikawa.

Even though oikawa was the biggest flirt in highschool and had many fangirls, he was always fond of you. Took care of you in highschool, helped you figure out certain things in managing the volleyball team, invited you to hang with him and his teammates. How sweet of him. Even tried giving you signs that he liked you, but he always thought you took it as a joke, because the way he put it was in a joking manner.

You thought he was always busy, too busy in volleyball, thought he was too obsessed with his fangirls so you never bothered in liking him, you thought you never stood a chance. You just thought the way he acted towards you was because he was just trying to be a good friend, well, he was but he was trying to get you to like him.

"Oikawa, I never really got to thank you properly. But, thank you for taking care of me in high school, i really appreciate it, i had a really tough time and you made my days better, thank you." you smiled.

"Hmmm? Oh, you're welcome" oikawa lips formed a small, soft smile.

"Alright, kawa let's go home, we have a game to attend tomorrow." iwaizumi says.

"Goodluck oikawa" you embraced him with a small yet warm hug. (this is a friend hug y'all don't overthink)

"Oh- thank you, y/n" he hugged back.

"Why am i not surprised that you didn't say 'i hope you win oikawa'" iwaizumi said.

"BE QUIET IWA" he huffed and let go of you. You and iwa both laughed in sync.

"Thanks though, for helping me put away and clean up, appreciate it"

"Of course, anything for our favorite manager" iwa says and he gave you a side hug. You all said your goodbyes and they left. As you went back inside your house, you checked your phone and saw the notifications.
