Vol. 5 part, 3: The Approaching Storm.

3rd POV.
Mistral, Branwen tribe camp.

Surrounded by bandits, Cinder, Dr. Watts, and Ryu stand and wait with Emerald and Mercury close behind as Raven exits her tent, wearing her Nevermore mask before addressing the bandits around her.

Raven: "I don't recall inviting so many guests into our home. Either I'm losing my memory or you've all lost your spines!"

Raising her voice at the bandits surrounding her as Cinder speaks.

Cinder: "Don't be too upset with them, Raven. Your men have simply recognized the power of a Maiden and her Guardian when they see it."

Her eye glows with trails fire.

Cinder: "Which is why I would like a word with you."

Raven stares at the bandits, before addressing them once again.

Raven: "Leave us. Pack your things, then break down camp. We're moving."

She says, as they all leave and do so.

Watts: "Little late to run and hide. You've been on our master's list for some time, so you must understand that we cannot allow you to slip away."

Raven: "I know all about your master, but I don't believe we've met."

Mercury: "We're the guys you should be afraid of."

Raven: "I doubt anyone should be afraid of you."

Mercury: "Oh yeah? Tell that to-"

Cinder: "Quiet."

Mercury relents and stays silent.

Raven: "That's what I thought."

Cinder: "I'm Cinder Fall. This is my associate, Arthur Watts. The man standing behind myself is my Guardian, Sanji. And my disciples, Emerald and Mercury."

Raven: "Two children you've tricked into following you, a disgraced Atlesian scientist, and a Fall Maiden with a surname so appropriate, she probably picked it herself. And then, you..."

Looking and pointing directly at Sanji while staring at Yamato in his hand.

Raven: "You look so much alike, I almost mistaken you for (Y/n). Vergil wasn't lying when he said he had twin sons. But, something tells me you and her have more than just a slight case of egomania, is that about right?"

Emerald and Mercury look surprised at each other as Watts clears his throat.

Watts: "Technically, I was also a doctor, but I must say. The rest was spot on."

Cinder: "Aren't you perceptive."

Raven: "It's what's kept me alive."

Cinder: "I'm afraid the only reason you're still alive is because you have something our master wants. Of course, if I'm wrong..."

Conjuring a small flame in the palm of her hand as Cinder grins evilly at Raven.

Raven: "Vernal!"

Walking out of the tent behind her, Vernal steps next to Raven.

Cinder: "So, this is the long lost Spring Maiden. Prove it."

Raven and Vernal glance at each other, with Raven nodding to the request. Vernal sighs and closes her eyes, holding out her hands as wind gradually begins to pick up around them, the blue sky also turns gray as clouds swiftly move in and leaves blow in the wind. Watts, Mercury and Emerald cover their faces as thunder crashes overhead, while Cinder smiles in amazement. Soon the display of power settles down as Vernal lowers her hands and opens her eyes.
