Third Chapter: Dark Past

You woke up on the boats, on someone's lap. "Huh, what happened?" You said as you were blinded by the sun. You realized that you were lying on Mikasa's lap, she blushed but was able to hide it with her scarf.

"He left you on the ground, I didn't want you to sleep there..." "He?" "Oh right, some guy that Eren was talking about, he is from the scout regiment." "Oh, Thank you for that." She replied with a smile. "But you still need some sleep, we still have some time till we arrive at wall Rose." You then fell asleep.

 It somehow made you feel happy, like someone is caring for you. You never felt that after your mother died, which is some time ago. 

Flashback
Y/N POV.
"Mom, how do I use this?" "Oh, this? Like That-" She was cut off by knocking on the door. "Huh? Who could it be? Wait here, I'll go see who's there."

"Mom, who's there?" After you said that, she came running to you: "I need you to hide, now!" she grabbed you and ran downstairs.

 There were just some things after dad in the basement, he died when you were only 5 months old. she hid you in a closet and told you to come out after you stop hearing sounds from above. You didn't want to stay but you had to. You could hear your mom screaming. The guys were asking about you, they clearly wanted to kidnap you. Your mom couldn't fight back since the incident where she lost her kagune.

Y/N Mom POV
Outside
The Anti-ghoul people were hunting me again, they were four and I was scared to fight, but I knew that I'll have to fight them eventually. They had some anti-ghoul weapons that could kill me easily, I knew they were working with the government, they had to, some random people wouldn't create a weapon like this.

"There you are! Kill her!" Shouted one of them. Not even a second passed and all the other guys appeared. I got cornered, I had to fight. "Four on one, What kind of bullshit is that!" "Haha, are you scared?" Said one of them with a maniacal look on his face.  Not wasting another moment, I swung my kagune at one of them and killed him instantly (Your mom's kagune looks like yours, but it has poison in it, so it can kill faster). "You'll pay for that!" Said one as he slashed me with his weird sword.

Then they continued to slash my kagune with their swords until it couldn't regenerate. "What is that? swords can't kill me!" Hoo, this is not a sword you know, this is designed to kill ghouls, not humans."

Y/N POV
I went to search for my mom since it was late and she was still nowhere to be found.

 After an hour of searching, I finally found her, but not in the way I wanted to. I saw her getting beat up by the people in suits. She warned me to stay away from them, she was telling me that all my childhood. I went to help her and they saw me.

 "Oooh who do we got here huh?" "Mom! Let her go!" "No. Run away, please. Run fast and get out of here!" "Huh? Trying to act like humans? Haha, don't make me laugh, there's no place for you monsters, you deserve to die." Said the guy with the maniac look on his face. "Now, you can watch your mother die!  And then watch yourself die! Hahaa, that's how it's supposed to be!". After he said that, one of his associates got slashed and died. As the mysterious guy who was using the ODM gear and had a scout badge tried to strike again, the second guy noticed it and blocked it with some sort of shield.

He was fighting with the last two guys but they managed to run away.

End of Flashbacks
You arrived at wall Rose, ready to start a new life with Eren and Mikasa. Right after you arrived, you noticed some blonde-haired kid about the same age running to you. He shared some food with Eren and Mikasa and looked at you.

 "Uhm, who is that?" he asked Eren. "Oh right! That's Y/N. We met him when the scouts were returning. We became friends after that." "Oh, and how did you meet?" "Uhm well... He bumped into Mikasa" "Eren! What the fu-" "So yeah, that's how we met..." "Anyways, what is your name?" "Oh right, my name is Armin. Here, take some bread." "I'm fine, I ate before we arrived."

"Eren? Are you ok?" Armin said as he saw tears in Eren's eyes. "M-my mom... She d-died." "Oh no... I'm so sorry to hear that." "Well, we have to go now, they'll kick us out if they'll see us Infront of the boats." "Right, Let's go."

(I know that I didn't finish the flashback, but I want to keep it for other chapters.)
