Excitement filled the air as the invitation to the Snowball was extended by the boys. It was an opportunity to embrace the ordinary joys of being teenagers in a world that had recently been anything but ordinary. Their hopeful expressions and eager anticipation were infectious, leaving us with no option but to accept.
"Will you go to the Snowball with us?" Harry asked, his eyes shining with excitement.
Jian and I exchanged a glance, and it took only a moment for us to share an unspoken agreement. The magical and the mundane were merging in a way we could have never anticipated, and we were more than ready to embrace this experience.
"Of course, we'd love to," I replied with a warm smile.
Harry beamed, relieved and thrilled by our response, while Ron, who had been waiting anxiously, joined in the excitement. "Great, I'll take Jian," Harry exclaimed.
Ron, eager to make the most of the upcoming event, added, "And I'll take you, Hermione."
As the plans for the Snowball took shape, our group, once strangers in a strange land, now felt like a close-knit band of friends. The adventure that began with mystery and danger had now led to the promise of a joyous, magical evening, as we prepared for the Snowball in Hawkins, Indiana.

Nancy, with her knowledge of the local fashion and her kind willingness to assist us, led Hermione and me to a selection of outfits. The shop was filled with a variety of styles, and it was clear that Nancy was determined to help us find something that suited our tastes.
After browsing through the racks and trying on a few different options, Hermione and I eventually settled on the same outfit, each of us finding a style that resonated with our individual personalities.
