      "This is team one waiting for confirmation" I groaned Bucky sounded so formal this is not how I liked to handle missions that's when I noticed the men glancing at me the one in the middle looked the most infatuated with me when I saw all the matching tattoos I knew "Dad! you didn't tell me we were taking down a mafia I got this"

I began to let my hair down and pull my dress up while Bucky looks at me with confusion"Kai what are you" I shushed him walking over to the men while My father shouted in my ear how we weren't supposed to engage "and who might you be?"

I extend a hand which he presses a kiss on I try not to gag in his face he was a sloppy kisser I could just tell by the saliva on my hand "Katie and you are cutie?" He smirks at my boldness "Alejandro" I smile and shake his hand

"do you have a last name Alejandro?" I flirt and he pulls me into his lap something I wasn't expecting but I just went with it "Fanzo" I smiled "Targets be acquired Tony!" The door busts open seat guards surround Alejandro and his little click

"Well that was fun" I rose from his lap and just as I suspected a knife was against my throat and he was shouting about how he'd kill me I don't knew the exact words because I saw working on my snake bracelet I told Loki this would come in handy

"Are you done yet!" I whine and he looks at me with confusion but he seizes as my snake bracelet pierced his skin knocking him out did I forget to mention it's a tranquilizer "Well he's out for another hour" I smiled and that's when I noticed Bucky's glare

"It's not that big of a deal-" Steve shushed me as Bucky continued to scold me "it wasn't safe you could've ruined the whole mission!" I rolled my eyes at his comment "listen Barnes I'm no rookie I've been in this game for sometime and I know what I'm doing" I reply venom in my tone

"she's always been this way Kaileia doesn't do safe" Bruce joked and everyone laughed trying to de-escalate the dispute "thats because she liked the rush but it drove Pietro crazy" I froze on the mention of his name and so did Wanda "I'm gonna go to my room" and with that was rushing to my room

It still smelled like him maybe because I never moved out any of his things but I just couldn't bring myself to I walked over to the shared walk in closet and took it in it was still full our bathroom still had pictures of us in it his toothbrush was still there

Everything was here except him

I clutched the necklace I had on my neck the one that Loki gave me at first I felt selfish for moving on so quickly after Pietro died but as time went on I knew he would've wanted me to be happy I reached out and clutch a picture of the day me he Wanda and I all met

"Excuse me pretty lady you seem to be lost this is-" I cut him off with a finger to his lips "training I know you're training me" he smirked at this extending a hand "I'm Pietro" I smiled taking his hand and shaking it

"Kaileia Kai for short-" I was cut off by a women who I assumed was his girlfriend "I'm Wanda his twin sister" I smiled at her, his sister great cause this guy is cute

I don't know how I ended up on the floor but now that I was I noticed how a lot of things were knocked out of place there was glass on the floor the mirror was broken and sink and shower pipes bursted

Sometimes I underestimate my powers when I feel deep emotions but I couldn't bring myself to get up I felt alone he was gone and I was even more reckless because I guess I didn't care if I lived or died and right now I wish I was dead

"Kaileia what the fuck" Buckys voice roared as he entered my bathroom I looked up at him tears on my eyes and smiled "I'm sorry I didn't mean to" I apologize and i let my head fall i between my knees again I didn't move until I felt two arms go around my shoulders

I looked up and Bucky was holding me and it made me weep even more I threw my arms around him and started to sob "it's okay let it all out" his tone had changed from rough to soft I'd never really cried about Pietro's death it hadn't really hit me until now

He's not coming back...

When I woke up I wasn't in my bed I was in a different foreign room in a mans hoodie my confusion was cleared up as Bucky entered the room towel around his damp waist "woah Barnes take me on a date first" I flirt

He pretends to laugh at my joke and proceeded to grab clothes to change in the bathroom "don't hide on my account I'd love to see this show" he rolls his eyes and closes the bathroom door and I just sit there smiling like an idiot

When he was done he came out in a black shirt and grey sweat pants I gave him a quick whistle  and he does a little twirl for me I stop laughing remembering my room is trashed

He seems to noticed my emotion change and sits down beside me "you're room is flooded Tony said it'll take a week to fix" I groaned I just hoped it hadn't gotten to Pietro's clothes
"That okay with you" interrupted my thoughts

I nodded and toyed with my hands Bucky wasn't so mean after all he was just damaged and I was determined to figure him out this was gonna be fun
