I hadn't heard from Bucky in days because of what happened Steve told me it's because he felt guilty and I respected that but I wished he knew I didn't hold it against him no one could've known that was gonna happen but as the days passed the one I dreaded arrived
I woke up in his sweater and picked up the picture of me and him at one of Tony's party's "Happy birthday Piet" I kiss the picture hoping it'll make me feel somewhat better but it doesn't I wipe the tears away and step out of bed but when my feet touch the ground they buckle and I fall to the ground
The picture frame shatters and my hands fly to my face I start to sob and I stay like this for another 30 minutes

"Anyone heard from Kai?" My head peered at Wanda who was looking at everyone frantically "it's Kai she never misses breakfast she'll turn up" Tony says not even bothering to look up from his newspaper I nodded and got back to eating "Tony do you know what day it is!" Pepper hits her husband on the head and he shoots up from his seat with a gasp as if his fatherly instincts kicked in"Jarvis I need every ice cream flavor they have at Ben and Jerry's now!"
I look around the room confused Steve drops the glass in his hand and I flinch he immediately races out of the room "she's not in her room mister stark!" Peter says out of breath like he's been running "Shit!" And at this point I'm getting irritated I slam my hands on the table and everyone now looks at me "can someone please explain to me what the fuck is going on!" Nat rolls her eyes
"It's Pietro's birthday" "who is this Pietro guy you guys are always talking about-" "Pietro is- was Kai's boyfriend he died last year" guilt immediately took over my face I felt to bad all that speaking of him in the past tense had a reason "he's also my twin brother" I nod Wanda did mention that she had a brother
I immediately got up from my seat "we need to find Kaileia"

"Thanks for letting me come over I know it was short notice" "oh it's no problem really we missed you here in Wakanda anyway" I smiled turning back to Shuri and showing off her two piece she let me borrow she whistles and I laugh giving her a little twirl "you wear that way better than I do" I scoff and mutter a "no way" before checking my lipstick in the mirror
"Okay are you two ready?" Okoye says entering the room and I clap my hands together happily "Nice ass Okoye!" She rolls her eyes and Shuri laughs walking over and handing me and Okoye a shot which we all down together "who would've thought it would be Okoye who would help us sneak out" I cut Shuri off clicking my shot glass on her dresser "I sure didn't!"
"If you're brother asks I was dragged along!" I laughed and grabbed my purse deciding to leave my phone here "let's get going ladies!" Shuri shouts and I cheer while we walking but I peer back to my phone then decided fuck it and following the girls already being a little buzzed
Shuri place an arm around my shoulder "I'm glad you decided to stop by randomly Kai" I smiled at her as Okoye rushed us "me too now let's go get wasted!"

Clubs in Wakanda just hit different the people the music and the club it's self was so much better than ones outside this beautiful place Shuri and I somehow took over the Dj booth and have been choosing the music ever since but hey people weren't complaining "Having Fun Okoye!" I shout over the loud music she just shakes her head no but I can see her foot tapping to the beat "liar" deciding I'm not drunk enough I down two more shots and my drink hoping my buzz will go up
Shuri changes the song to "Good Girls Go Bad" and I gasped "this song is my shit!" I shouted that part as I climbed onto a table and began to dance around I was still sober enough to know what I was doing but I just wanted to forget, Forget him forget the memories Forget every I love you forget every kiss every touch but I knew I really didn't want to I'd miss it to much
My body moved to the music as I danced alone on the table Shuri and Okoye were cheering for me as I did so was the rest of the club everyone's dancing and getting into the music "fuck yeah I love Wakanda!-" I yelped as I feel off the table ready to eat ass but that's not what happens instead two arms catch me and I smile up at "Bucky you're here!" "He's not the only one" I looked over at T'Challa and my eyes widened the music cut and everyone stared
"It's time to go Shuri" she rolls her eyes and hops down from the Dj booth "My king they brought me against my will I-" he shushed Okoye "it's okay I'm not mad let's just go home" I sighed home meant that room and going home always meant

"Okay let's go into the room" Bucky slings me off of his shoulder and onto my bed but I whine because of my shoes when I stretch out my feet he groans and takes the heels off me "better Doll?" I laugh at the nickname and nodding he began to walk away and suddenly this room felt so empty so alone I didn't wanna be alone- "Buck!" He turned his head towards me
"Can you just stay with me for a little bit" I was looking down on my lap if he said no I'd definitely hold it against him but when I felt the bed dip I knew he was right there next to me "What Happened today Doll?"
