I stepped out of the shower and wrapped myself in a towel.

Do you think my dad will even notice I'm gone? I would be shocked if he did anything about it.

I slipped on some clothes they had gotten me. The outfit consisted of a long-sleeved red crop-top, high-waisted jeans, and white shoes. I opened the door of the bathroom and walked out into my room. As I was making my bed, I heard a knock at the door.

"One second," I called out. I quickly finished making the bed and opened the door.

     "Good morning." Aaron smiled.

     "Good morning." I smiled back.

"How did you sleep?" He asked, his eyes trailed down my body before bolting back up.

"I slept great. You guys have the best beds here. I barely got more than three hours of sleep a lot of the time. I got like nine hours of sleep. I didn't know that was possible." I laughed. He smirked.

"Well, I'm glad you got plenty of sleep," He said. "Are you hungry?"

"I could eat." I smiled. I was hungry now that I was thinking about it.

"Alright, let's go downstairs." He moved out of the doorway. We walked down the large staircase together and he led me to a small dining room. There were two plates with pancakes, eggs, and bacon. It looked delicious. We sat down and began eating.

Two guards rushed into the room.

"Sir Aaron, Lady Aphmau, we have received word from Shad." They bowed.

"What did he say?" Aaron stood up.

"He knows we have her. We can't hide her. There's a magical tracker on her that was cast by his strongest sorcerers. We aren't sure how to deal with this." The first guard stated. I looked over at Aaron.

"Did you know about this?" He asked.

"No, I had no idea." I shook my head. He sighed.

"Where is my mother?" He asked.

"I believe she's in her study. We haven't made it there yet with the news." The second guard stood up.

"Get the news to her. We have a lot of things to work out." He pushed his chair in and grabbed my hand. "We need to get you to our strongest magicians. We need that tracker broken."

"Sir Aaron, if I may, shouldn't we wait for her majesty's judgment?" The first guard questioned.

"Don't doubt my judgment. I am one year from becoming king. I have the right to make decisions." He shook his head.

"I'm sorry, sir. We shall go inform Lady Irene." The guard responded. The two guards left.

"Come on." Aaron started towards the door. I followed him and we began walking through the hallways. "You're telling me you had no idea that he had a tracker on you? Can you not sense magical presence?" He was clearly frustrated.

"I had no idea. I can sense magical presence but I'm assuming I've had this since I was a child so I guess the feeling is normal. Could you not sense it on me?" I asked.

"No, I thought it was just like the rest of your magic and dark." He shook his head. "How could I be so naive." He opened a door and there I saw a large group of people sitting at a table.

"Sir Aaron." One of them stood up.

"Sir Jeffery, I need you to break a spell." He begged.
