Severus talks to Lily about James and their relationship, "I don't trust him Lily." He says gravely. Lily sighs and shake her head. "Severus he's changing. Try giving him a chance." Her eyes soften hoping he would agree with her.
Severus shakes his head, no. "I'm telling you Lily, he isn't trust worthy." He shouts sadly not getting through to Lily, all of a sudden a hand grabs his shoulder making Severus jump and look back. He sees James glaring at him, "Get away from my girlfriend." James said before throwing a punch at Severus's face. 
James beats up Severus while Lily closes her eyes and covers her ears. Y/n walks out to the courtyard only to see Severus getting beat up. She quickly pulls out her wand and runs to James. "Stupefy!" She yells, James flies back and Lily runs to his aid. "James!" She yells worried. 
Y/n runs to Severus seeing blood run down his nose and has a black eye. "Severus are you okay?" She quickly helps him up. Severus spits out blood and looks at Y/n.
"Thanks for saving me."
