Severus sits bored in a café with a girl he was doing a project with but she wasn't doing anything but talking about drama. "And then this bitch had the audacity to pull my hair and call it a wig when she was the one wearing the wig!" The girl said frustrated.

'That's incorrect. You both were wearing a wig.' Severus thinks to himself, annoyed. Severus was so done with this girl that his eyes wondered around the café. He sees a muggle girl walk in by herself and sits at an empty table ordering a simple sweet tea.

She sits by herself letting her eyes wonder around the café as well. Severus and Y/n make eye contact for a few seconds before his project partner snapped at him, "Hey! Are you even listening?!"

Severus turns his starstruck gaze to the annoying Slytherin girl, "No I'm not listening because I don't care." He frowned. "You know what! Since you're not listening to me you can work on the project by yourself!" She yelled before stomping out of the café.

Y/n and Severus were both still sitting in the café after an hour, Severus doing the project while Y/n looked like she was waiting for someone. Severus looks at Y/n and notices her sigh before finishing up her 3rd tea.

Severus wondered what a pretty girl was doing by herself so he decided to get up and ask. "Hey are you okay? What are you doing here alone?" He asked sitting in front of her. She looks up and shrugs, "I was supposed to meet my boyfriend here an hour ago." She sighs, he looks at her with pity on his face.

Y/n got a ding on her phone and she quickly looked at her. After reading the text she threw her phone in her bag and covering her eyes while sighing. "Was that him?" He asked, She nodded. "Yeah... He broke up with me." She whispered.

Severus furrowed his eyebrows angry at that. Stand up your girlfriend then break up with her an hour later?! What an asshole! "Hold on a minute." He said getting up and going to his table. He packs his things, grabs a rose from a vase and comes back, "We may not know each other but allow me to be your date for today, we don't have to see each other after words unless you want to but please..." He hands her the rose and she gladly takes it with a small smile on her face.

"Allow me to treat a beautiful girl the way she's supposed to be treated."
