Ellise's Pov
The dinner at Shoto's house wasn't fully as bad as I was expecting it to really be. Enji wasn't all that bad as long as he had a lot of food, and was drinking. Rei was a very emotional woman at times and showed me a lot of baby photos at the end of the night. So all and all.
I thought it was quite the win that my husband's family didn't fully hate me like how Shoto did. For just a while we had our own system in place, when we would have dinner, breakfast. He would do his hero work, I would do my own work as well. But of course the simple peace wasn't just gonna be there like always.
One early morning Shoto who I thought had left for work startled me. Yanking the cup filled with the steaming hot coffee filled my senses rushing around the kitchen to find all the stuff I needed for the day.
"Ellise." I almost jumped spinning around my eyes wide I relaxed a little watching a half shirtless Shoto buttoning up his white button up, gazing at me through the strands of his hair.
"Jesus! You scared me, I thought you were already at work." I stammered out watching him shake his head at me a couple times.
"No, not today. Do you have some time this morning?" Once more I fluttered my eyes sipping the coffee.
"For?" I questioned gently watching him walk into the kitchen with me, he took the cup from me taking a long hard sip.
"My agency wants to announce the marriage, so I need you to come with me." I wasn't really expecting that but both colored eyes stared at me fully while he was waiting my answer.
"Do I have to wear another dress?"
"At least a semi professional one."

"Okay so we can keep things straight, our hero Shoto Todoroki has been keeping things in his own life private. But everything can't be kept away from the public so here from the number two hero." I had seen plenty of hero quirk press conferences on TV. And it was just like that, lots of flashing, reporter's.
Shoto went from looking like a business man straight into his hero outfit. He was a professional he did these so easily that he wasn't struggling like at all.
"Hello." Shoto spoke calmly bringing his mic close to himself.
"These couple months I've been quite busy actually, preparing a lot of things, I have someone beside me today." I brought myself out of my thoughts forcing a small smile.
"Hello." I spoke quietly looking down a little I saw Shoto glance at me cracking a small smile. But he then grabbed my hand to show off the large ring present on my finger.
"This is Ellise Yong, she is a stand off hero that helps cops on the scene, also known as the elemental hero. She's my fiance." I had to shut my eyes for just a fast minute when the loudest exclaims and flashed went off.
"Shoto!" The screams in the room increased. My eyes grew wide so fast looking to see Shoto keeping his full composer but questions were being shouted left and right bouncing all over the room.
It was a long two hours of answering questions but for a minute I parted away from Shoto to let him do this interview. Smoothing out the black and white dress I started making my way down the hall playing with my ring a couple times cradling it.
Can I do this? Being married to the number two hero? It's gonna come with a lot of baggage.
"Ah I see my replacement finally has made herself public." I was taken back by the voice suddenly speaking so spinning around at the voice I watched the woman make her way towards me. It didn't take long for it to click.
"Momo? The number five hero." I spoke watching her lift an eyebrow at me. She was a gorgeous woman, long black hair, their costume hugging her figure.
"Funny, you know me, but I don't know you, I think I would remember a low budget hero." A smirk was sent my way, but I couldn't really tell if that was an insult.
"Funny, I'm not a pro hero so I wouldn't expect you to know me. But if that was an insult you gotta do way better then that." Her smirk dropped for just a moment.
"Listen Momo, there's nothing much to be said between us two. It's an arranged marriage, for kids. But if you think putting me down, or threatening me will change anything it won't." She opened her mouth to speak to me. But I just shook my head walking around her.
"If you would excuse me, I have to be getting to my own work, not worrying about something so little." I folded my arms shaking my curls in the process.
"You little bitch who the hell do you think you are, you think you are better then me!" I felt something rush pass me so fast but I didn't even flinch when I quickly shot my hand out shooting out a large beam of ice hearing the body slam straight into the wall.
I scoffed quietly shaking my head a little "Oops my bad." I muttered a little making my way towards the exist pushing open the doors.
Now I was expecting that, but I was gonna have to deal with all this.
