Unknown POV

I had her. She was in my grip! But something yanked her out, though she did leave wounded. The master wasn't happy with my actions. And that meant punishment. What was my punishment, well I had no idea.

But I was about to find out,

Slam.

The master entered the basement, I'd been thrown in after Echo found out what I had done. He looked angry, and I could feel his anger rolling off him in waves.

He stopped in front of me, and looked at me disapprovingly at my state. I was currently chained to the brick walls, these chains have been spelled by witchcraft. Also known as Unholy Magic.

"You disobeyed me, I made it crystal clear that the girl was to be unharmed. But seeing as you can't follow a simple order I'm going to have to remove you from this line of work and teach you a lesson. Or rather have some assistance in teaching you a lesson. Understood Blackout?" Master is suddenly beside a tray of torture tools, that certainly weren't there before.

I felt the shadows that once did my bidding slither back to my master, he didn't even flinch. And he picked up four throwing knives, and threw three. They landed on both sides of the wall behind me, finally he threw the last one and it landed only centimeters above my head. I felt hair fall from my face as the blade cut a strip from it.

Before I knew it, the master unbuckled his belt and made a slapping sound with it. I shrinked away, but this punishment was far from over. In fact. I discovered,

It was just the beginning

Lexia's POV

Great, a fourteen year old is being sent away from school on a 'Vacation'. Also not to bring up the fact that I'm driving, it was raining badly, I could barely see the roads and I was almost slipping. Lisa gave me coordinates of where I'd be staying, and before I left the school they did something to me that I'll never yet back...

If only I knew there was a warlock at school, in fact it was one of the teachers. So basically they had me pack my things and move across the country, they cut off all contacts I had with them for safety precautions. But would come visit here and there. They think

hiding me is the best idea.

Oh and what they did I almost forgot about, they strapped me to a chair and painfully stripped me of my vampirism. It hurt, and now I'm-

"Holy-Wolf!!!!!" I shrieked

I slammed my foot on the brake pedal. And the car came to a skidding stop. The car stopped in the middle of the road, the view from in the air would have looked like this vertical sideroad surrounded by nothing but forest, with a lone car stopped horizontally with a huge wolf on the right side of the car.

I stared at the wolf, he looked like he was sleeping. And that my ride hadn't made a sound at all. And that's when I smelled it...

Blood.

This wolf was wounded, questions ran through my head millions per second, and these were only a few,

Why was he in the middle of the road? Is he wounded? If I go check him will he attack me? What do I do? What can I do? Wh-

I stopped myself and took a deep breath, opening my car door I got out and stood in the rain. I slowly approached the wolf, suddenly it's eyes snapped open and he started growling.

This wolf had a black pelt with tints of grey here and there, the odd thing about him was what he was wearing. I guess you could say it was half of a wolf skull on top of his head. His stormy grey eye had golden rings around the perimeter of the iris. His snout was pulled back into a feral snarl. I noticed the cuts and scratches that were

open, to be honest he looked like he's been hit by a car. And if this wolf doesn't let me help he will either die because of blood loss or he will be taken to the pound by some driver.

I took a step but his growl stopped me in my tracks, I held my hands up and knelt down.

"Hey there, I'm Lexia, and what do you say to me giving you some help?" Kay, so either I'm talking to a shifter or I'm talking to a wolf who could rip my head off at any second.

When he didn't answer I took a step towards him, which immediately caused him to growl out a warning. I stopped dead in my tracks, then I had an idea. I ran back to my car soaked to the bone, I dug through the glove department on the passenger side.

Finally, satisfied with what I found I ran back to the wolf. I pulled the slices of ham off and knelt down as close as I could get without him snapping his jaws at me, I held out the ham and he hesitated before sniffing it. His eyes showed hunger and he slowly began to lick the ham, until he started to starf down the ham. I gave him the rest of the sandwich and he saw I had no more and his guarded expression returned and he growled. I pulled out the bottle of water and held it in my hand giving him the unasked question in just one look. It may be raining but he looked thirsty. He tilts his head back and I waterfall it into his mouth. Once the bottle was empty I finally asked him the 1,0000 dollar question.

"Now can I help you?" I held my hand a little ways away and when he moved to sniff it I held my breath. Satisfied the wolf wagged his tail side to side.

So when he barked at me I grinned and I half carried half dragged him to my car. He whimpered as I apologised continuously. After

about fifteen attempts to get the big male wolf in my passenger seat. I finally did it and he was bleeding less now as the wounds began to scab over, I ran over to the drivers side and made my way quickly to the coordinates Lisa gave me.

I almost missed the pathway, since it was narrow and a tree blocked it on the side I was coming on. But still I pulled up to the house. It wasn't that complex looking but still looked like it had been abandoned for years.

I parked in front of the garage and lifted the wolf into my arms, bringing it out of the rain and into the house. The house looked clean and not what I expected, I expected the house to be all dusty, gloomy, and somewhat empty. In fact it was quite the opposite, it looked like it's been lived in. Lights were off, furniture was looking brand new and it felt homey. I put the wolf down on the couch and I dug around, finding an old sheet I placed it on the table. Placing the wolf on the table I began rummaging around looking for a first aid kit, finding it in a cupboard above the stove I pulled it out and laid all the stuff out that I needed to use.

Keeping in mind if this were a werewolf he would either understand me or he'd not meaning he's just a wild wolf. I addressed the wolf with much seriousness and he looked me in the eye.

"I have no time to explain, but if you're a werewolf I need you to somehow give me a sign you understand, you may think I don't need to know but I do. You see, if you're a werewolf then you'll heal quickly and all I'd have to do is clean your wound, but if you're a wolf then I'm gonna half to take you to a vet because you need stitches." I say

This had the wolf's attention. He stared at me with such understanding, I would mistake him as human. I took a step and removed the wolfs.....half-skull, but he growled warningly. So I snapped,

"Growling at me won't do anything, in fact you're getting worse so make your decision and make it quick."

' Go ahead.' A voice spoke in my head

I stared wide eyed at the wolf, then shaking my head I got to work.
