Chapter 4. The Home

Since leaving their parents' home, the ride to my own has been silent. Aside from giving directions to Ezra on my apartment location the ride had been quiet. I don't know what I expected the ride to be, but it wasn't this. Maybe I had thought he would've tried something, or we would've talked but the silence took over. It wasn't uncomfortable, just strange.

As we pulled into the parking garage of my apartment complex, Ezra found a spot away from the other cars in a secluded area to park. Turning the car off, he unbuckles the seat belt and gets out before I do. Opening my door for me, I thank him exiting with my handbag and walking alongside him to the elevator.

"Thank you for the ride," I mumble out as the loud click of my heels echo across the parking garage.

He hums out as we come up to the elevator and presses the button,

"It was my pleasure, Star..."

My eyes locked with his as he purred out my name before looking back to the elevator as the doors opened. Putting out his palm towards the opened doors, I nod with a subtle smile before entering.

"Do you want to come up? For a cup of coffee or tea, I mean?"

Ezra looked at me raising a brow while looking around us. His tongued jutted to the side of his cheek as he let out a short laugh. He bounded his way into the elevator raising his arms to the sides of my head trapping me against the wall. Neither of us moved for a moment, our eyes locked as if we were the only two in the world and then we met once again. His fingers gripping and threading within my hair. My fists clench gripping his jacket and body towards me.

I don't know what it was about this man but he was like a drug, I couldn't get enough of him.

Our lips were fierce against one another as we tugged our bodies unbearably close to one another. I don't know what it was about this man, but I was addicted. A moan slipped past my lips and I tightened my hold onto his body. My lip's part urged his tongue inside and kiss to become more heated and out of control. It was dominating and exhilarating being kissed by him.

We both pulled back breathlessly, the only sound heard is our loud breathing as we backed from one another. I shook my head realizing I was so caught up in the moment I completely forgot to enter my apartment numbers. Stepping away from him, I enter my apartment key code and floor. The elevator immediately dings, and we feel the elevator begin to move.

"So, coffee and tea, huh?" Ezra whispered under his breath causing the both of us to laugh.

"Maybe not..."

His eyes shot to my own in a heated stare before the doors pinged opening up to the penthouse apartment. I hurried inside kicking off my heels racing towards the bedroom with Ezra hot on my heels. A giggle escapes my throat as he catches me by the waist lifting me into his arms. His body walks through my bedroom doorway closing the door with his foot. As he places me on the bed and begins stripping right in front of me, I could feel myself becoming more drenched.

That evening I can promise, we had lots of tea and coffee.

I groaned lowly at the bright light beaming on my closed eyelids. Attempting to turn my tired aching body the opposite way, I find myself stuck between large rough arms. Opening my eyes, I shut them just as fast as the sun poured into them. Lifting my hands, I rub my lids slowly. Opening them once more I glance down at my naked attire and legs tangled with Ezra's own. His arms are wrapped my waist and eyes shut as he slept peacefully.

Lifting my hand, I traced lightly over his jaw watching as he slept. He was so beautiful without even trying, even in his sleep he looked good. I probably look like a mess right now. Glancing towards the clock, I notice the time before looking to his beautiful face. Wait! Looking back the blinking of clock, 7:30 am shows back to me and I instantly smack his arm.
