Chapter 5 : Stranger
Nora’s P.O.V
I put on a sweater and drove to the nearby café .
Victoria , the owner of the shop stood behind the counter .
“ The usual ? ” she asked , as soon as she saw me approaching .
I nodded yes , smiling as I settled down in a booth .
Victoria has been like a mother to me ; she had been through all the ups and downs of my life . During some weekends , we would sit together and enjoy the evening .
Soon she came with my coffee , sitting down opposite to me .
As I sipped on my coffee , I saw two unusual visitors in the café .
Victoria’s eyebrows kneaded with confusion due to the approach of the strangers .
I looked over my shoulder to find one of them staring at me .
The same grey hoodie and sunglasses .
I quietly slipped out of the booth and went to Victoria .
When I said this to her , she sent me out through the back door of the café .
Before leaving , I looked back to spot the guy smiling at me.
