Chapter 2 : The Tickets
Nora’s P.O.V
As I sat in my Biology class , I needed two sticks to hold my eyes open . It was incredibly boring .
A paper flew through the air and landed on my table . I looked around to make sure if it was for me .
As I scanned the class , I found Caroline , my best friend smiling widely at me .
Mr . Warner , our biology teacher , did not even bother to look if we were present in the class .
Nora ! I have three tickets to the One Direction concert ! Coming Monday ! Lexie is joining ! Can you come ? x
I have always loved that band . I was not some obsessed fan who stalked and annoyed them . I was just another girl who appreciated their music .
I nodded yes to Caroline which resulted with a wide grin on their faces .
Caroline and Lexie were my closest two best friends since pre – school . We were partners in crime , often leading to everyone pointing at us during some prank .
As the bell rang , Caroline shoved my ticket into my jacket’s pocket .
My parents were out of town most of the time .
It’s business , they say .
Linda was hired for taking care of me since I was 2 ; she’s more like a mother to me now .
