Arianna's POV

Next day I woke up at my usual time and left for hospital. I and caden were assigned a pyscotic case today.

There was a man sitting in a small cubical of the ward. I and Caden started taking his case history. There was something strange about that man.. he kept eyeing caden with a suspicious look and almost snapped that him with his every question while he answered my question with cocky and flirty answers and was eyeing me...greedily which was making me squirm in my seat with fear, which irritated caden a bit but at the same time he looked suspicious too as of trying to figure something out. That man had may bruises on his face.

"What are you feeling right now? As in how is your mood?" I asked him as a part of MSE(Mental Status Examination)

"I am in a mood of feeling up many things right now, sexy"

This statement made mine as well as Caden's eyes to pop out of our socket but caden composed himself a real quick and had an expression on his face which were answering his suspicions while I shuddered in fear.

Caden cleared his throat

"I have some work to take care so I'll leave"

My jaw fell open..
He can't be serious... Especially not after what this man answered...

I saw him with pleading eyes not to leave but he just ignored and left.

I was asking him more questions when he suddenly got up and started coming near me. I told him to stop and sit in his place which he ignored and started touching me. I started screaming which did not seem to affect him. He pushed me against the small plinth in the cubical and was trying to kiss me. I tried to push him away but he wouldn't budge. I was so scared and crying my eyes out. Just before the man was about to kiss me a hard punch fell across his jaw and that man fell to his side. With blury vision I saw...
Elijah!

Elijah was hitting the man hard. I tried to stop him telling he was a physciatric patient who had paranoid personality and was also a sex maniac... I accidentally hit my leg to the table and fell on the floor and I was still sobbing when an arm encircled around me. I looked up to see Elijah but to my utter surprise it was  Caden. Anger shooted up my veins. I asked him to stop Elijah who was still hitting that man who almost passed out. Caden stood up and stopped Elijah. Both Caden and Elijah came near me asking me if I was okay... I nodded at Elijah and slapped Caden hard on his face amd left with Elijah...

We went to common room and I helped him clean up his bruised knuckles. I thanked him for like a tons of time and everytime he replied with 'I will do this for more 1000 times if required'    'I'll protect you' and much more. These words made feel so special that I hugged him.

" I owe you Elijah"

"No you don't 'owe' me"

"Please let me do something for you"

"Okay... Let's go to have dinner today. Only friendly hangout and let me pay"

I smiled "okay done"

CADEN'S POV

The man sitting in front of me was snapping at my every question and was eyeing Arianna with lust that I wanted to knock him out but instead I just chuckle.

" I am in mood of feeling up many things right now"

His this answer made my eyes pop out of socket and so is Arianna's. His this answer confirmed my suspicions of him being suffering from a paranoid personality along with sex mania. Now I decided to leave to room to check how long can he wait not touching a women. Bruises on his face confirmed that beating he got out of harassing people.

" I have important work to do.."

Arianna saw me with pleading eyes but I Ignored and left.  I had to see how much deeper is this man. I decided to wait out for 10 minutes and then be back in. I would wait out the cubical itself.

It was already 5 minutes.  I would wait for more 5 and then go in..

I was waiting when I saw the BP machine in next room beeping fast so I ran there to check everything. Patients pulse was reducing so did the necessary stuff to bring it back to normal. I huffed and came out of room when everything came under control when I heard

"stop Elijah"

This voice was familiar
Shit! ARIANNA

I ran towards the cubicle only to see her on floor sobbing and Elijah beating that man. I realised what had happened. I stopped and we came back to  Arianna.

"Are you fine?" I and Elijah asked together.

She nodded at Elijah and slapped me hard...

I wanted to go after her.. but I fucked  up  back..
