Lucas heavily sighed as Lilith gave control of his body to Lucas. If there was not an answer, why kill the man? It seems to be murder now. More danger was coming since Lucas overheard his neighbor calling the cops. He would get arrested and put in prison. If that happens, they will find something else that Lucas did not want to uncover. He washed his hands and put on new clothing.
"What are you doing?" Lilith yelled.
"Waiting to get arrested," Lucas said plainly.
"Why? We're supposed to run away!" She complained.
"I had enough of these disasters in my life; I'm tired of this bullshit. First, I lose most of my money, and now I've killed someone!" Lucas yelled.
"I don't want to lose no more," he said calmly.
"Then run; all you can save now is yourself," Lilith said.
"You don't know how it is, don't you," Lucas said.
"But I suppose you're right; I guess saving myself will at least be something worth ruining my life for," He said as he got up.
"Now, how do I escape without alerting my neighbor?" He thought.
"The window might be the only option for you," Lilith said.
"I mean, I did feel regeneration during that time, but that probably won't be enough to save me from an 8-story fall. It's fatal and reckless," Lucas thought.
Lucas peered out of the windowpane although, he had no fear of heights, the fear of death was in his mind. Lucas started to think again. If he lived on the eighth floor, he could run down four stories and jump from there. He will have to engage in combat with his neighbor if the event arises. Fighting is the last thing Lucas would want. Two things stood solid in his mind: Fighting and what would happen next. Lucas's body is not well built so, having Lilith control his body would be a boost although, he will not like it. As Lucas kept thinking, he did not realize how much time he gave to the police. Lucas heard a knock on his door and a loud voice. He quickly knew what he could do. There was a body on the floor and cleaning alcohol on the table. Lucas threw the body out of his building and grabbed the cleaning alcohol to clean up the blood. He managed to find a small piece of the victim's brain and the bullet.
The knocks gradually became louder. Lucas heard clicking noises, but those were not clicking noises from a mouse. Those noises were the noises of a gun. Lucas knew he could not do anything for much longer.
"When I think of pancakes, you take control of my body," Lucas thought.
"Ok, but why can't you select a thema; this will make things easier," Lilith contradicted.
"Explain later," Lucas whispered.
Lucas opened the door and greeted the policemen. They entered his apartment, and Lucas backed up to his kitchen table. He pretended to be innocent as the policemen checked the entire apartment. They rummaged through his living room and bathroom. They went to his bedroom and found some beach model magazines. Lucas tried to do something about that but, out of fear of being caught, he resisted. One policeman went to his living room again and found the blood-stained cloth Lucas used to clean-up.
"What is this?" he asked.
"Oh, some cloth I spill cranberry juice over," Lucas said.
"They said that he murdered someone but, I don't see evidence," the policeman muttered as he looked around.
"I know this is the wrong timing but, PANCAKES," Lucas thought.
Lucas's attire converted into the clothes he was wearing before as his hair became red. He felt the regeneration and strength. He felt his consciousness become sub-conscious. Lilith could now feel what Lucas senses too. Lucas's victim is the policeman now as he neared towards him. The cop slowly turned around, and when he saw Lucas, Lucas leaped on him and covered his mouth. The cop struggled as Lucas tightened his legs around the man's chest and hands on his mouth. Lucas heard an incoming cop, so he twisted the cop's neck. The crack made Lucas uneasy as Lilith started to take care of things. The confused man came out of a hallway as Lucas summoned a pistol. The display of the firearm being formed out of thin air still baffled Lucas. The cop entered the living room, and Lucas pulled the trigger. The man fell to the ground with a thump. Lilith gave control back to Lucas as his appearance returned to normal.
