(This will be based off of an experience I had in middle school- the nurse wasn't very... good at sending me home. She kept saying my parents wouldn't be home or the busses wouldn't be running and all the jazz -_-... the nurses didn't like me that day- my orchestra teacher was mad as well that the nurses didn't do anything, and my math teacher even said I needed to go home but ya know. Nurses didn't want me to- and I went like two other times before that, stating I didn't feel good- this will be altered though so it won't be accurate)
It was early that morning in castle oblivion, Xigbar was on his way to yukis room to get her up for classes since he knew she needed them. He went to her room and walked inside, turning on the light "come on Yuki, it's time to wake up, you can't be late for classes"
Yuki groaned and pulled the blankets over her face "five more minutes.." she mumbled.
"No, now.. you can't miss classes" he said, walking over and pulling down her blankets "let's go before you're really late, you still need to eat breakfast and get ready and all.."
Yuki sighed "okay, okay.. I'm getting up.. turn my light off when you leave" she said sitting up.
"Good" he said and walked to the door, turning off her light and walking out.
Yuki rubbed her eyes a bit and stood up, swaying a bit but caught herself "It's just the morning... I'll be fine in a little while.." she said to herself and walked to her closet and got some clothes out. She changed quickly and brushed out her hair. She looked in the mirror at herself for a moment and touched her cheek "I really am pale... hopefully they don't notice... just get ready then leave.. luxu won't notice then.." she sighed and walked out of her room to the dining room and grabbed a granola bar.
"Hey there, how'd you sleep?" Xigbar asked looking over to her.
"I slept great.. thankfully didn't have nightmares or anything" she said and opened the granola bar taking a bite from it. 'Great.. can't even taste food...' she thought then looked to Xigbar "I'm gonna head out now, see you and everyone else later, tell them I said hi" she said and grabbed her book bag and started heading out.
Xigbar raised an eyebrow and walked over "hold on a second"
Yuki paused and grew nervous "yeah..?"
"Are you feeling okay? You're acting a bit weird today.." he said and raised his hand to feel her forehead "are you sick?"
Yuki quickly stepped away "nope! Uh.. I just have a really cool project going on today! Uh.. see you!" She said and left.
Xigbar blinked before sighing "she's never excited about projects.. Maybe I should keep her home today... or am I being too protective..?"
Xemnas walked over, hearing him "I'm sure everything's fine.. even kids who hate school can have fun once in a while. You may be over reacting" he said.
Xigbar looked to him "you may be right... I can't help but just feel like somethings wrong.."
"It's normal for someone who cares a lot for someone else, I'm sure she'll be fine" xemnas said before walking away.
Xigbar nodded before walking back to what they were doing before.
~at school~
Yuki walked to the school and stretched a bit "man... today feels like it'll be long.." she mumbled and looked around and noticed sora and the others and smiled "hey guys!"
Sora looked over to her and smiled, waving "hey Yuki! You're early, usually you're right on time"
Yuki rubbed the back of her head a bit "ah.. yeah.. just wanted to go to school early.. I wanted to hang out for a while, we don't have the same classes other than gym so... I kinda figured we could hang out here"
"Oh, sounds good" sora said smiling.
Yuki smiled and walked over to the group, standing with them as they waited for the school to open and classes to start.
~skip some time to first few classes~
Yuki looked at the teacher and laid her head down on the desk and after a few minutes she ended up falling asleep. She woke up later though, after hearing the bell and stood up putting her things away heading out of the class. "I should head to the nurse.." she mumbled and walked down the stairs to the nurses office and she walked inside.
The nurse was on the computer not paying much attention. "Have a seat dear, we'll be there in a sec"
Yuki looked over and sat in the chair, waiting for them, which took a few minutes and she sighed "um.. excuse me?" She asked.
"Patience darling, we're busy" the nurse said shaking her head "kids these days, am I right?" They asked looking to the other nurse.
The other nurse laughed "I know right.." they said.
Yuki looked down and stood up "never mind, I can't miss my next class" she said and walked out. She went to the gym room and walked inside. She smiled at sora who was at the other side of the gym and waved before heading to the locker room.
She got changed into her gym uniform and walked out, walking over to her group of friends and chatted with them for a bit until the coach finally arrived.
After class started, they did some exercises and went over what they were doing that class. They got into pairs. Riku and sora were together, Yuki and kairi were together for the class and so on with the other students.
Half way through the class, Yuki had started feeling more lightheaded and had a harder time with staying standing still. Her vision was starting to get fuzzy and dark. After a minute she ended up collapsing onto the floor.
Kairi saw and ran over "Yuki! Are you okay?" She asked, nudging her arm a bit but got no response. She looked around for the coach "someone call a nurse! She's not responding!"
Sora took notice "what's going on?" He asked and ran over.
Kairi looked at him "Yuki just passed out.. I don't know what happened" she said.
Sora kneeled beside them and put his hand on yukis forehead and was a bit surprised "I think she's running a fever.. she pretty warm.."
"I'll go get the nurse" Riku said and ran out of the gym to the nurse to go get them.
Kairi looked down to Yuki and nudged her again to get any response "Yuki?"
Yuki opened her eyes half way, things were still blurry "Kai?" She asked and looked up towards her.
Kairi sighed in relief "yeah.. it's just me, don't worry.. Riku went to get a nurse" she said.
Yuki shook her head a bit and tried to get up "don't bother... I went earlier.. they didn't even try to do anything.." she said.
"Don't get up! You need to stay down.. you passed out.."
Yuki looked at her before staying on the ground "fine.."
Kairi looked to sora "I hope you don't mind a visit to castle oblivion.." she said.
Sora sighed "well.. if it's what it takes to get Yuki somewhere safe.. then I guess I have no choice" he said.
