eeek i was reading xiao fanfics last week, watched his character demo, read his profile and backstory stuff on the genshin fan wiki... I FELL IN LOVE and that's why i'm starting this book ehe 😅

i hear a jangle of keys to see xiao opening the door of our apartment.

he slides his arms around my waist and rests his head on my shoulder. "i missed you."

"you look exhausted, let me take care of you," i say, lifting my hand up to caress his cheek. he replies with a "mm." before i head to the kitchen.

"xiao, say ahhh~" and i feed him a spoon of almond tofu.

seeing his cheeks puff up and eyes form a smile makes me want to take hold of him and just cuddle for a billion years.

"please stop staring." xiao's face is tinted pink.

"ehe sorry, i just think you are the most precious thing ever when i get to feed you."

"whatever.." he says, and  i continue feeding him.

i look up from my book to see xiao in a fluffy robe, wet hair and a tired expression.

"xiao, you're going to get sick if you don't dry your hair. wait, i'll just do it for you!" and i jump up, pulling xiao with me.

xiao pov
y/n had dragged me to the bedroom and sat me down on the bed while they grabs the hair dryer from the bathroom.

they sit behind me and their legs wrap around my waist. they start to dry my hair and i have to admit, i really like it when they run their fingers through my hair.

"ok... now for the front." y/n moves to sits in between my legs and resumes drying my hair.

touching xiao's hair was like petting the fluffiest puppy ever. the colours of his hair were beautiful as well. i suddenly got this idea, how about put his hair into kitty ears??

"xiao, i want you to stay there just a little longer okay?"

"why?"

i giggle. "you'll see, just stay here and i'll be back."

xiao pov
y/n returns with some hair ties and some sort of wire thing. they sit on the bed and start doing my hair.

after what seemed like ages, y/n is finally finished. "there! all done, take a look!!" they hold a mirror in front of my face.

i stare hard at my reflection. "you make me look like keqing."

y/n starts laughing as they put away the mirror. "i assume you'll cope with it, plus you look 10 times more adorable."

"i see. can i take them out now?"

"aww you really wanna do that? i just finished~" y/n pouts. my mind was screaming 'stop being so fucking cute'.

y/n comes up close to me and smiles. "it's fine if you don't want to keep them in. i still think you're adorable." and they put a small kiss on my lips which left me in a blushing mess.

a sudden force pulls me down onto the pillow. y/n buries their head into my chest. "it's time to sleep, xiao. sweet dreams. i love you~"

"i love you too." i whisper, before falling into a deep sleep.
