started on my xiao angst but then idk if i should turn it into a smut or keep it as full angst so that's why i've uploaded this request for now, lemme know if y'all want a smut / angst or just an angst :)

i open my eyes to the adorable sight of a sleeping xiao. a strand of his hair covers his eyes, and i reach over to tuck it behind his ear. however, as i gently pull my hand away, his hand grabs onto mine, startling me. 

did i wake him up and make him mad?

"nghhhh..." he groans, bringing up his other hand and holding mine with both of his.

i slowly melt into a warm smile. "morning, xiao. did you sleep well?"

he pulls himself into my chest, breathing softly against my skin. "yes, i slept well." his voice is still in a daze, usually he'd be more alert by this time.

"is something wrong, xiao? are you feeling sick?" i ask, beginning to fear that he was unwell. i give him a kiss on the head before he shifts his weight on the bed to face the ceiling.

"no, i just feel closer to you."

closer to me? hm...

after cleaning up breakfast, i head back upstairs to see xiao waiting for me. 

weird... i think, walking past him and heading to the wardrobe.

"ahem.. uh, y/n... can you come here for a moment?" i turn around and xiao is flushed red, averting my gaze. i follow him back to the bed where he motions for me to sit, so i rest my body against the headboard. 

he then lies down, but on my stomach. 

"x-xiao...?" his arms slide around my waist and he closes his eyes, body relaxing. 

"...could you... pat my head?" what a strange phenomenon, xiao being so clingy! but i dismiss the thought and did as he asked.

i stroke his hair and he nuzzles in closer, breathing softly as i comfort him. 

he must be tired, i thought, as it had only been a few minutes since we had lay down. but that's fine, it's not everyday i get to see him so adorable.

ok but like wtf what has happened to my writing skills???? i'm so sorry if this ain't as good as the other chapter's i've written before, i finished school a few days ago but now i'm spelling things wrong so like afjskfjskfljsfkjsflks i'll get my writing power back i promise 😃😃
