Chapter4: return what is undeserved

Issei was quiet on our way back, pouting like a child as we arrived back at the school. Without looking at him, I stopped in front of him.

Kaito: "Your suffering hasn't ended yet, the next part will force you to face what you have done"

I then glanced at him out of the corner of my eye before I started to walk to the door.

Kaito: "Then you will be returning what you don't deserve"

I stopped outside as I became nervous about seeing my birth parents after so many years. I then felt a gentle hand on my shoulder, turning to look i saw Rias.

Rias: "are you alright?"

I nodded slightly and sighed as I could only think of bad outcomes.

Kaito: "I'm scared, what if they forgot about me, what if they don't believe me"

Rias gently grabbed my hand and lead me to my human home. On the way telling me how I would be alright and she would help me.

Rias: "I'm sure they will be happy to see you"

We found ourselves standing in front of the house. Rias went first and entered the house as I stayed in the same spot and with a breath to calm my nerves I approached the front door. I gently knock and after hearing Rias' muffled voice I entered. I saw mom and dad looking at me confused.

Rias: "don't be shy, say something"

I stepped forward a step and looked even more worried. I gathered my courage and looked to them sheepishly.

Kaito: "I'm sorry it took me so long to come home"

Before I knew it mom was hugging me and crying. As dad smiled warmly to me and let a few tears shead. I gently hugged mom back and smiled warmly.

Mom: "I knew you were alive, I just knew you couldn't have died that day"

Dad walked up to us and smiled but seemed a little confused about something.

Dad: "Issei told us you slipped and fell off the cliff, we couldn't find your body so your mom and I knew you couldn't be dead"

Mom nodded lightly and dried a tear as she looked at me.

Mom: "How did you survive that fall?"

I smiled and looked to each of them.before I turned slightly to Rias.

Kaito: "thank Rias and her family, when I woke up I had amnesia, they took me in and when I regained my memories Rias helped me find you"

Just then Issei entered the house and gained a look of realization and fear as soon as he saw me.

Kaito: "Hello Issei, are you unhappy to see me?"

My smile dropped as I glared at him, mom and dad looked confused as they watched me glare intently at Issei.

Issei: "H-hey Kaito"

Issei knew now what I meant, but how confused their parents looked meant that I would force him to tell them.

Mom: "what dose he mean Issei, why wouldn't you be happy to know Kaito is alive and safe"

Issei struggled to answer, he knew he was trapped with no way out.

Kaito: "yes Issei, perhaps you should explain, it may be easier for you. Or are you afraid of what will happen"

I walked to Rias' side as I waited for Issei to try and play dumb.

Issei: "I don't know what you-"

Kaito: "I guess I'll start for you, 'mom, dad the truth about the day Kaito went missing is...'"

I knew he would try that so I was ready for it. Rias looked at him disappointed. With a long sigh Issei looked at mom and dad knowing he lost, he gave in.

Issei: "Kaito didn't slip, I pushed him cause he was being treated better than me"

Mom and dad looked at him in shock and horror as I looked at him with a blank look but inside I was smiling.

Mom: "That's why you were acting strange when we went looking for him"

Rias walked past Issei and smiled gently to mom and dad.

Rias: "Yes, what he did was unforgivable but let's focus on the positive, your son has returned home. I think this calls for a feast, my treat"

Kaito: "If it's alright, could we invite mother, father and the rest of the family?"

Mom and dad nodded with an understanding smile.

Mom: "of course, I would love to meet the people who saved my baby's life"

We soon met at a restaurant with mother, father, Sirzechs, Millicas, Grayfia and Maharal. Both sets of parents got along very well and shaired stories though devil details being left out.

Mom: "How was he when you found him?"

Mother and father looked to each other before they looked back to mom.

Mother: "Well my husband and I were having a romantic evening together, going to one of our favorite flowerbeds. But when we arrived I noticed someone laying in the flowers. And to my horror I had realized it was a young boy, unconscious and not moving. So fearing for his life, my dear husband and I brought him to a doctor. The fall had caused him to suffer from amnesia but as the years went on not only did we take care of him we hoped his memories would return."

Father: "we knew one day he would regain his memories and hope to find you"

After dinner I explained I needed to return to my house and told them it was just down the street. Mom and dad understood and said they would come by soon while Asia, Koneko and Rias decided to move in as soon as possible. To the ignored protest of Issei who was hoping one of the girls would save him from what I had planned.

The next day Rias and I took the others to the underworld. I explained what I had planned to deal with Riser but to almost everyone's surprise we stopped at the Beelzebub estate first.

Issei: "Wait, why are stopping here?"

I then walked up to Issei and dragged him out of the train. I walked to the mansion of the new Beelzebub, dragging Issei the entire way and knocked on the door. Surprisingly his niece, Latia Astaroth answered the door.

Latia: "Kaito, I'm happy to see you have returned but why are you dragging that boy behind you?"

Issei tried to say something before he felt the girls and Kiba glare at him.

Kaito: "it's great to see you as well La-chan however I am here on business, I need to see if uncle can remove evil pieces without the mercy of death"

Latia looked confused for a moment before her look shifted to understanding then a serious face. She nodded and lead us to her uncle.

Latia: "uncle, you have visitors and business here to see you."

Latia smiled to us and left the room after glaring at Issei. Soon enough Ajuka Beelzebub entered the room, once see us smiled. He became confused when I forcefully put Issei in a chair.

Kaito: "I wish we could have come visit in more pleasant circumstances uncle. Unfortunately the one who tried to kill me years ago has weaseled his way into Rias' peerage. I removed his sacred gear and was hoping since you made the evil pieces, maybe you have a way to remove them without killing the host."

Ajuka smiled and nodded as he grabbed a bag of tools.

Ajuka: "I can't promise it won't be painful, but I do have a special tool to do so"

I nodded then had Yoruichi, Tsunade, Chun-li and Cammy hold Issei to the chair. Within the hour Ajuka had removed all the pieces and returned them to Rias. Our next bit of business was in the Phenex estate and we were now ready.
