Romantic Rose (Prolouge)

Chapter 1:
Bleeding Rose

  
    Blood dripped on the floor of the Infirmary in Atlas Academy as Ruby barely survived a bad Grimm attack in Mantle. Weiss refused to leave her side, and no one had ever seen Weiss this scared, even at Beacon. Doctors rushed to put bandages on Ruby, but she was losing a lot of blood quickly. "We need a blood donor!" Said one of the doctors. "I'll do it!" Weiss yelled, not willing to lose her Rose. As Weiss got settled, she looked over at Ruby with tears in her eyes. She reached her hand over to Ruby's and grabbed it. Then there was a sharp pain, as they started to draw blood. All of a sudden, Weiss blacked out.

Chapter 2:
Queen of Roses

   When Weiss eventually came to, she looked over at Ruby to see her looking at her. "Weiss?" Ruby said painfully. "Ruby! Are you okay?" Weiss fearfully asked. "As good as I can be. What happened to us?" Ruby asked. "You got clawed pretty good by that giant Grimm. They needed blood, so I volunteered." Weiss then tried to sit up, to which she fell back down. "Weiss! Be careful!" Ruby said, now visibly worried. "I'm fine Ruby!" Weiss said. "So... am I part Ice queen now?" Ruby jokingly asked. "Ha ha, no you're the Queen of Roses dummy!" Weiss said, beginning to blush now. Ruby also began to blush. "So, uh, what does that make us?" Ruby asked. "Whatever you want us to be!" Weiss said, hoping she would say what she wants. "What about my Love?" Ruby hesitantly asked, now blushing a lot. Weiss was shocked, but happy. "Of course!" Weiss responded

Chapter 3:
A Cafe Window

   A few days later, Weiss and Ruby got released. "The air is too cold! Let's go somewhere!" Ruby said while shivering. "Luckily, I know just the place!" Weiss responded. It was snowing now, and Weiss was taking them to her favorite cafe. As they entered the Cafe, the bell at the door rang. "Oh, hey Weiss!" Said Snow, one of Weiss' old friends. "Hi Snow! This is my Girlfriend, Ruby Rose!" Weiss said. "Hi! You're Snow, right?" Ruby asked. "Why yes! I am, and lucky you! I would kill to be with a girl like Weiss!" Snow said. "Go ahead and find a seat, I will be with you soon!" Snow said. "Ooh, over here looks nice!" Said Ruby. "That's actually my favorite spot." Weiss said. "Perfect!" Ruby said, as she pulled out her chair and sat down. "So, what should we talk about?" Ruby asked. "Well, anything really." Weiss said. "What would you both like to drink?" Snow asked. "Oh, the usual." Said Weiss. "Hmm... do you have anything with a lot of sugar?" Ruby asked. "Well, duh! Want that?" Snow asked. "Yes please! Oh, can I also have some cookies please?" Ruby asked. "Sure! Be back with that! "Snow said. "What do you usually get here, Weiss?" Ruby asked. "Chocolate coffee with a touch of whipped cream." Weiss said. "Ooh, sounds nice!" Ruby said. "I'll let you have a sip if I can have a cookie." Weiss said. "Fine! You win! It's a deal then." Ruby agreed. "Never really took you as someone who liked chocolate." Ruby said, as she changed Weiss' contact name to "My Snowflake." "Well, neither did I until I tried it." Weiss said. "Oh boy, did she love it!" Snow said, getting to the table with their order. "Thanks!" Said Ruby, who then quickly blew on her Coffee to cool it down. "How much do I owe you, Snow?" Weiss said, pulling out her card. "Oh, don't be silly! The boss was so surprised that you came back, he said to let you have it for free!" Snow said. "Wow, really? I didn't expect him to do that." Weiss said, while being surprised. "Me neither, that's why I said 'wait, really?' His face when I said that you came back was priceless!" Snow said, chuckling at the end. "Well, tell him I said thank you!" Weiss said. "I sure will! Have fun, Lovebirds!" Snow said as she went back to the counter. "You know the boss here?" Ruby said after taking a sip from her Coffee. "Oh yeah, I used to work here before I went to Beacon. Of course my dad didn't find out until I left. He must have been pissed after He found out." Weiss said, taking a sip from her coffee as well. "Hey, you still owe me a sip!" Ruby said while smiling. "Fine, here you go." Weiss said as she passed Ruby her coffee and took a cookie. "Hmm, actually tastes pretty good!" Ruby said after taking a sip. "How's your arm?" Weiss asked as Ruby passed her back the coffee. "Oh, it still hurts but not that much. I'm sure I'll be back to fighting Grimm in no time!" Ruby said. "Uh, maybe you should leave that to the others. They said that we should take some time together. They would handle the Grimm." Weiss said, taking one last sip from her coffee on the same side that Ruby did. "Oh, well in that case..." Ruby grabbed both of Weiss' hands, pulled her in and kissed her. Weiss, shocked but loving it, kissed back. Pulling back into their chairs while still holding each other's hands, they smiled and laughed. "Ruby! I didn't know you were such a good kisser!" Weiss said while smiling the whole time. "Yeah, neither did I. But I guess it's just sort of natural." Ruby said while laughing.
