White Rose (Pt. IV): Old School Cool

Chapter 28:
Some Change

     Ruby walked out of the shop and whistled for Weiss. She looked at her and gasped. "Like it?" Ruby said, pointing to her hair. "It looks beautiful!" Weiss said. "You got some of it dyed white?" Weiss asked. "Yeah! Because White Rose, you know?" Ruby said, smiling at her. "Yeah, I get it!" Weiss said, grabbing Ruby's hand. Sapphire and Raven walked over to them and sat down. "You look nice!" Raven said. "Thanks! I just got it done!" Ruby said, running a hand through her hair. "You two almost ready?" Sapphire asked. "Yeah, just gotta say goodbye to Yang and Blake. They should be here soon." Weiss said. "I can't believe we're going back to Beacon." Ruby said. "Just remember, it's gonna be different." Sapphire said. "No duh! It's been 3 years!" Ruby said. "Now hold on! I'll be back soon!" Weiss said as she walked into the shop. "Wonder what she's doing." Raven said, leaning against Sapphire. "Wait... aren't you his mother?" Ruby asked Raven. "No, that was someone else." Raven said, grabbing Sapphire's hand. Yang and Blake walked up and looked at Raven. "Mom? Sapphire? What are you two doing?" Yang asked. "They're like me and Weiss! They love each other!" Ruby said. "Speaking of, where is the Ice Queen?" Blake asked. "Only I can call her that! And she went inside the shop!" Ruby said. "Woah, okay then. Sorry!" Blake said, making her ears droop down a little. "Its okay, Blake." Ruby said. "Like your hair, sis!" Yang said. "Thanks! It didn't cost that much to add the white, so you should add some black in your hair, for Blake!" Ruby suggested. "What?" Yang asked. "I mean... uh.... Your hair looks great!" Ruby corrected herself, in fear that Yang might pulverize her. "Hey, I'm kidding! I just might do that, if Blake gets yellow in her hair." Yang said, grabbing Blake's hand. "Your pockets look... empty?" Blake asked. "All I have is my wallet and Scroll in my pockets." Ruby said. "What happened to your cigarettes?" Yang asked. "I gave them up. I'm done smoking, and my time on that god forsaken boat with the love of my life did that!" Ruby said. Weiss walked out of the store and cleared her throat. "Oh my gods Weiss you look beautiful!" Ruby said, running up and hugging her. "Thank you honey!" Weiss said, hugging her back. "Ooh, I like the red!" Yang said. "Thanks Yang." Weiss said, grabbing Ruby's hand. "You know, we can come with too." Blake offered. "If you both want to, that's fine." Weiss said. "Yeah, we'll come with!" Yang said. "Everyone ready?" Ruby asked. "Yeah, we are." Yang and Blake said. "Us too." Raven and Sapphire said. "Weiss?" Ruby asked. "Huh? Oh, yeah. Sorry, zoned out for a second!" Weiss said. "It's okay! Now Raven, if you could please?" Ruby asked. Raven opened a portal to Beacon and everyone walked through, gasping when they went in.

Chapter 29:
Ruins

     Ruby walked through the portal last, gasping when she saw where they started at. "We, uh.... we can set up camp here." Ruby said, looking at the bunk beds. "I'm going to go find us our own room. You can all stay here." Raven said, bringing Sapphire with her. Ruby looked over at Weiss, biting her bottom lip. "Yang, Blake, can you two go try to turn on the power?" Ruby asked. "Sure. Be back soon you two!" Yang said, walking out with Blake. Weiss looked around and saw a hole in the roof by the window. "What the hell happened here?" Weiss asked. "No idea." Ruby said. "Hey, Weiss?" Ruby asked. "Yes?" Weiss asked. "Do you think we could... you know, do a thing?" Ruby asked. "Honey, as much as I want you, and only you, being in bed with me, now is not the time. We need to clear out this area and build a fence first. And fix the room." Weiss said, looking at her feet. Ruby grabbed her hand and made Weiss look at her. "It's okay, Weiss. We don't have to do it now, and I know it must hurt seeing this place." Ruby said, comforting her. "It must hurt me? What about you? You watched Penny and Pyrrha die! You petrified the Wyvern that's perched on the tower! It must hurt you a hell of a lot more than me!" Weiss said, hugging her. Ruby grabbed Weiss' cheek and pulled her in for a kiss. The two stood there at the broken window and just kissed each other deeply, their tongues locking together. They stopped and smiled at each other. "Now come on, let's take Beacon back." Ruby said, grabbing Crescent Rose and Weiss' hand. They walked out of the room and went down the hallway. They accidentally ran into Yang and Blake. "Oh, hey guys!" Ruby said. "What's going on?" Yang asked worriedly. "What do you mean?" Ruby asked. "Raven and Sapphire aren't answering their scrolls!" Blake said, putting away her scroll. "What? Where did you last see them?" Weiss asked. "Down there!" Yang said, pointing down the hallway. Ruby ran to the door and knocked on it. No answer. Ruby pulled out Crescent Rose and kicked the door open, seeing Sapphire and Raven looking at them, Raven on top of Sapphire, both still fully clothed, and evidently having have just stopped kissing. "Ruby! A little privacy?" Raven asked. "You two aren't picking up your scrolls! They've been calling you!" Ruby said, putting away Crescent Rose. "You have?" Sapphire asked. "Yes! At least pick it up next time!" Ruby said, walking out of the room. "So?" Yang asked. "They're okay." Ruby said, sighing out of annoyance. "Good. Why didn't they answer?" Blake asked. "They were, uh, doing something. And I think they have their scrolls muted." Ruby said, rubbing her neck. Raven walked out of the room. "What did you need?" She asked. "Well, we found the generator, but, we don't know what wires go where. And Qrow said that you played a prank on everyone by turning off the generator. So what wires go where?" Yang asked. "Red goes into the upper left, black to the bottom left, and green to the middle." Raven said. "Thanks." Yang said, walking away. Raven looked at her feet. "Hey, it's okay." Weiss said, comforting her. "Now go, Sapphire wants you, I'm sure of it!" Weiss said. "Come on, Weiss. We've got some Grimm to kill." Ruby said, grabbing Weiss' hand and taking her with her.
