Love Letters

The First Letter

"Sho-kun!" His mother calls. Hinata wakes up with a smile and jumps out of bed. "Coming, Mother!" He walks downstairs, while Natsu is waiting to scare him. On the last step, he knows something is suspicious. Usually, every morning, Natsu is very noisy but Hinata couldn't hear anything at all. He chuckles and suprises Natsu instead. "Boo!" He yells. Natsu was startled. "You scared me!" Hinata carries Natsu and laughs. Hinata walks to the tables and asks his mother, "What's breakfast, Mother?" His mother takes the bowl of rice, and says "Rice again, Sho. You do know that we are poor right?" Hinata looks down. "Yes. Sorry for asking." After breakfast, he goes to the shower and takes a bath. Then, Hinata walks to school happily, singing songs.He was so excited for school, he was very early! At school, lots of people were looking at him, the reason why is... his hair is very messy. He didn't want to be late for school so he didn't have time. But he was so excited, he forgot what time school was supposed to start. He came 1 hour too early. After an hour, he walks to the assembly, sensing someone is staring at him. Even if he fixed his messy hair. He looks behind and he sees no one. Out of nowhere, a student comes. His name was Kageyama Tobio. Lots of people are afraid of him, because of his face. He always looks like he wants to start a fight. "Stop blocking the way, squirt." Kageyama says. Hinata gets angry and replies, "No way, butthead!" Kageyama gets even angrier. "Fight me in the back. After school, 4pm." He says. Hinata gets startled while Kageyama walks away. "I don't want to fight that scary guy!" Hinata says.Tsukishima walks by and says "Goodluck, tangerine." Hinata was a bit confused. He kept thinking who was he? He looked interesting.

At the assembly, the fight with Kageyama and Hinata gets around.

"I'm afraid what'll happen to that new student. He has to fight Kageyama. The biggest bully of the school."

"I heard that Kageyama used to act like that since kinder."

"Kageyama always win fights. Even wins with the big and tough guys in the alley."

Hinata was scared. What if he comes back with a scar on his face and his mother would want to move? Hinata loves their Neighborhood, and he loves the school. Hinata decides that he won't listen to Kageyama and won't come to the fight. After the last period was finished, Hinata rushed out the door and ran to the front of the school. He checks if Kageyama is there, waiting to fight him before he goes outside to go back home. Hinata doesn't see Kageyama and attemps to run. But... someone takes his arm hides beside the front door of the school. His name is Oikawa Tooru. He is spying at Kageyama. He doesn't go to Hinata's school though. "Hey, I heard that you were going to fight with Kageyama. Want me to help?" He said. "Yes! I would very much need help!" Hinata replied. "Great. Tell me where are you going to fight." Oikawa said. "Just follow me." Hinata said. Oikawa nodded his head and started to follow Hinata. The time they arrived the back of the school, Kageyama was already there waiting. He was way too early. it was still 3:32. Hinata was frightened. Kageyama walks to Hinata and says "Who's this fat cow right behind you?" Oikawa was offended. "Oi!! I'm not a fat cow! My body is perfect!" He yelled. "I will be fighting you, Tobio-chan!" Oikawa said. "You? Fight me?" Kageyama said. He laughs. Hinata was extremely confused.

After the long talk with Oikawa and Kageyama, Oikawa gave Hinata a sign to sneak away. Hinata realized it and tried to sneak out. Luckily, Kageyama was too focused on Oikawa. When Hinata walked home, He sensed that someone was stalking him. He was afraid. He ran inside his house and locks the door. He looks out of the window, and sees no one. Hinata sighs, and walks to his room. "Hm. I wonder who was the guy with the glasses? He looked cool! Wait but- Tangerine?!" Hinata said.
He smiled while thinking about the name "Tangerine".
He liked it, somehow.

After 4 days, Hinata kept on thinking about Tsukishima. He hears a car drive by. It was the mailman giving out letters. Hinata runs outside to get the mail. Hinata sees a letter with his name on it inside his mailbox. "Hm? Who is this from?" He says. Hinata runs inside to check the letter. 
"To Hinata Shōyō, From ???. Who could he/she be?" He said. Hinata opens the letter and reads.

You give me happiness everytime i see you.
It was love at first sight.

Hinata was embarrassed. "Haaa?! I love w but double is silent? You are my sunshine and i could be your moon?" He smiled and laughed. "I'm excited too."
