Realizing the Power - Chapter 3

Doctor Bradford and his colleagues had to wait years, nobody knew if the project was successful at first. Everyone was stressed, mostly Doctor Bradford. Doctor Bradford was not sure if he did the right thing by spending everything he had on this project. They had to wait and see the results one by one. Doctor Bradford put all of his fortunes into this project and he had no other choice but to succeed. When Jason was 3 years they couldn't stop his crying, because of his ears he can hear things that other people cant. First, they thought the baby was dying, " What is going on here, someone calls medical assistance" said Doctor Bradford " We will look into it, don't worry Doctor. They are on their way to here." said the female scientist. "We don't have much time. We have to figure out the problem as soon as possible," said Doctor Bradford. They did multiple tests to make sure he is okay, Doctor Bradford was so worried. He has the ears of a bat. He could hear frequencies up to 100,000 Hz. First, they had no clue about how to help him. They researched the metals that block frequencies to help Jason. Doctor Bradford and other scientists created a special ear cover from copper for Jason Sparks, so he can only hear those high frequencies in extraordinary situations or when needed. This copper cover also works as a headphone so he can communicate with staff at Jarvis Tower easily." We finally did it," said Doctor Bradford. Doctor Bradford gave the copper covers as a Christmas gift, "Here you go boy" said Doctor Bradford, Jason looked at Doctor Bradford and smiled. Jason was so happy, nobody gave him a present before. Jason put the covers on, He never felt so calm before. "Thank you, Doctor Bradford. You are very kind," said Jason. Jason did not know that Doctor Bradford had to these favors to earn his love and respect. He had no idea about Doctor Bradford's plans. It was snowing outside and Jason was watching the city while eating his favorite steak, at the Jarvis Towers 300th floor. When Jason was 5 years old, his eagle eyes started to work, he could see a person from 3 miles away. His eyes were light yellow. Everyone was shocked because of the results. No one has expected these results so soon. Doctor Bradford also created thermal goggles for Jason Sparks aka Hybrid-Man and made him even more powerful. Doctor B gave the goggles as a birthday gift, " thank you Doctor " said Jason. Jason was confused because he didn't understand why needed the goggles. "Why I need such a thing Doctor," said Jason. "I don't know it's just a gift," said weirdly Doctor Bradford. Doctor Bradford was happy about the results but he had to make money. Doctor Bradford was an impatient person. Doctor Bradford couldn't say why gave the goggles to a 5-year-old kid.

When Jason was 7 years old his bear nose finally fully functional. He looked into the mirror and thought for a while. He realized that he does not like the other people, His eyes were different, His ears were different. He could track the smell of someone from miles away. " Why I look like this," said Jason, " You are special that's why you are a different kid," said Doctor Bradford. " I look, weird Doctor," said Jason. Jason looked at the Doctor weirdly and continue eating his meal. Jason thought he did get a better answer than that but Doctor B was a secretive person. Doctor Bradford had no friend. Everyone was scared of him. Jason did not know Doctor Bradford was a terrible person. Jason could sense something was wrong with him. He could smell and sense the feelings of others. He could identify people with their scent from miles away. Doctor Bradford gave Jason a day off. Jason did not understand what is a birthday. Jason had no friends. Jason wanted to socialize but Jason had to stay at Jarvis Tower permanently. He couldn't even use social media. He did not know anything about the news.

When Jason was 10 years old his body strength almost reached its peak point. He was more powerful than a bodybuilder at the age of 10. Doctor Bradford invite some of the best personal trainers to the Jarvis Tower. Jason was not aware of that power, he thought it was something normal. Everyone was shocked. " We couldn't help this kid," said the personnel trainer. He could lift up 100kg that time without giving his full effort. He could push up 100 times at once. He could tear a wall apart by punching. "Do not damage the property" Doctor Bradford said. Jason looked at the Doctor confused, he was not aware of the power. Doctor Bradford realized that Jason is more powerful than he could ever imagine. Doctor Bradford was also scared because of these significant results. Doctor Bradford and other scientists found the best people on the planet to teach full-time martial arts to Jason Sparks. These people were well paid because this project was confidential and the government doesn't know anything about it. Doctor Bradford threatened the martial arts teachers. " If you guys say anything about this project to someone else no one can found your dead body," said Doctor Bradford " There is nothing to be worried about sir. Your secret is our secret," said the headteacher. Jason heard that from his room on the 300th floor. Jason started to think. He stood up and look at the city. He was living with the most horrible man on the planet. Jason couldn't sleep for weeks after hearing those conversations. Doctor Bradford realized something was wrong with Jason and " What is wrong with you for the past couple of weeks kid" said Doctor Bradford. Jason looked him in the eye and " I heard what you said to those people, you threaten them with death. You are a horrible person. You should be ashamed of yourself " said Jason. Doctor Bradford had nothing to say, he immediately leave without an answer. Jason was confused because he had no idea what Doctor Bradford gonna do to him. He cried for 2 hours. He felt better after that. He had to watch Doctor Bradford's every move from now on. Doctor Bradford went to his office. He was worried because his real face was revealed.

Jason's first-day training martial arts was funny. the Teachers did not know he had such power. They started with basic training. " Punch me, let's see your power Jason," said the Karate teacher. Jason was smiled at the Karate teacher before punching the Karate Teacher in the face. the Karate teacher's jaw was broken because of the Jason punch." Ahhh, my jawwww" said in pain the Karate teacher Jason was scared he did not know he had such power. Jason called medical assistance to help the Karate teacher.

Jason Sparks was trained every day for 10 years. He learned Karate, Jui-Jitsu, and Kung-Fu. He started to beat his teachers in martial arts. Teachers were really impressed by Jason's power. After 10 years of training. Doctor Bradford invited those martial art teachers with their families for a dinner at the most luxurious restaurant in Jarvis Tower called The Cena. The karate teacher stand up and " what a pleasure to eat here with such extraordinary people here, thank you for inviting us Doctor Bradford." said the Karate teacher. " that pleasure is mine. You worked too hard and helped Jason in every way possible. Thank you." said Doctor Bradford. They ate wagyu meat and special caviar from the rarest source. that night everyone is except Doctor Bradford. Nobody realized that. Doctor Bradford was drinking his wine while watching them eating their meal. They started to pass out one by one. Doctor Bradford has poisoned the food by bribing and threatening the chef. Doctor Bradford killed those martial arts teachers and their families in cold blood to secure his secret, he couldn't take risks.

They wanted to test Jason's intelligence. " Do you think you are an intelligent kid? " said Doctor Bradford. " I believe I am sir. I am intelligent enough to act intelligently." Said Jason. " We gonna see it after a couple of hours," said Doctor Bradford. Jason thought those questions were really easy, he thought Doctor Bradford was joking at first. He finished the tests in a really short time. After a couple of IQ tests, they realized Jason Sparks had an IQ of 223, they realized he was more intelligent than almost everybody on the planet. " You are a genius kid, maybe the next Einstein or Tesla who knows? You have a lot of potentials," said Doctor Bradford. Jason Sparks looked confused, he did not know any of these persons. He started to realize that he had no knowledge of history or science.

He could even predict the opponent's move while fighting. He beat scientists in chess within seconds. " checkmate again sir" said Jason, "No way kid, we just start playing." said the male scientist. Scientists were really impressed by the results, they even invited some of the world chess champions. He beat those world chess champions. He even beat the AI sometimes. He has a regenerative healing factor, he has an accelerated healing process that enables him to regenerate damaged or destroyed tissue with far greater efficiency and stronger than an ordinary human. He can regenerate greatly damaged or destroyed tissue within few seconds. Doctor Bradford took his Desert Eagle and shot Jason in the stomach. " it was tickling." said Jason and laugh. Scientists shot Jason many times with powerful machine guns but Jason didn't even felt it. Scientists were shocked they didn't expect an outcome like that. Jason Sparks seems to be invincible.

Jason has started to realize his own power and he wanted to know more about the people and the outside world. He had a massive library on the 300th floor. He looked at the books and chose one of them randomly. He did not know that he was staying at Marcus Jarvis's old office. He did not know anything about Jarvis Genetics or Marcus Jarvis at all. He read almost every book about science, history, and psychology in Marcus Jarvis's library. He became one of the most educated people on earth. He wanted to socialize with people but Doctor Bradford always kept him in the Jarvis Tower. His only friend was an AI called Odin.

Doctor Bradford finally can use him as a mercenary and make some big money. Jason Sparks never wanted to kill people but Doctor Bradford gave Jason no other choice. Doctor Bradford was the only person that knew how to control Jason Sparks aka Hybrid-Man.
