Nialls POV

I rolled over in my bed an looked at the clock. 10am, it read. I had woken up to loud voices downstairs, probably Zayn and Liam fighting again. I hauled myself out of bed and down the stairs, so I could get breakfast.

"ZAYN! LOUIS STILL ISN'T HOME! WHERE THE HELL IS HE?" Roared Liam.

"HE TOLD ME NOT TO TELL YOU! JUST MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS!" Zayn screamed back.

I walked into the kitchen and the two red faced boys turned to look at me.

"I'm sorry Nialler, did we wake you?" Sighed Liam.

"Yeah, but you guys have been yelling at each other for weeks, can you just work it out already?" I muttered, walking over to the pantry. Zayn opened his mouth to reply but didn't get a chance to speak before the front door slammed shut. In walked Louis, leaning on Harry's shoulder, crying.

"LouBear? What's wrong?" I asked, grabbing tissues and drying his face from the tears. He opened his mouth to speak, but nothing came out.

"I found him in an alley on my way back from the bakery." Harry said. I shot Zayn and Liam a dirty look silently telling them not to comment.

"He was laying there in a pile of bottles," Harry continued. "Long story short I picked him up and convinced him to end things with Monique. She was bad news, and just teaching Louis bad habits." He said. I felt a rush of relief come over me. Ever since Louis and Monique had started going out, they had been up to no good. Monique would drag Louis to clubs and they would go out late at night and hang out with the wrong kind of people.

This is just why I've been avoiding Harry. Every time I start to get over him, he does something to make me like him so much more. But the problem with is I like him more than a friend.

"Zayn, I'm sorry I yelled at you. I was just worried about Louis. I shouldn't have taken it out on you like that." Liam said, sincerely.

"I'm sorry too Liam. I should have been more responsible and not let Lou go out so much." Zayn said, opening his arms for a hug that Liam gladly accepted. Wow, that was fast. I didn't think they would be that quick to make up. Record time, I recon.

The boys excused themselves from the kitchen, leaving me and Harry by ourselves. I was about to leave as well when I heard him talk.

"Ni?" He called, stoping me in my tracks just as I was about to reach the door.

"Y-yeah?" I stuttered.

"Why do you keep, you know, avoiding me?" He said hesitantly. "Do you, do you h-hate me?"

"No Harry! Of course I don't hate yo-"

"Why do you keep avoiding me then?! What did I do!? All I want is to have my best friend back, is that really too much to ask?!" He shouted angrily. I was getting angry too.

"No! I avoid you because if I hang around you, you do something special that just makes me fall for you even harder!" I screamed, before realizing what I said. I clamped my hands over my mouth and ran out of the room. I sprinted up to my bedroom and jumped on my bed, letting the tears be soaked up by my pillow. God! How could I have been so stupid! Now he's just going to be disgusted. He hates gays. Every time there's a gay couple, or someone even says the word 'gay', he gets all tense ad stops talking. Now he just hates me. Great.

"Ni?" I heard a voice say. Harry. I didn't move or answer. I just lay there. I felt the bed dip as he lay down next to me. He pulled me close and that's when I lost it. I started crying unattractively into his chest. The whole time he just hummed to me and played with my hair, or rubbed circles on my back, his touch sending buzzing electricity down my spine. When I finally calmed down I spoke to him.

"It's okay to hate me Haz, I know you don't like gay people, you don't have to pretend to like me." I whispered. He stiffened again at the word 'gay'.

"What makes you think I don't like gay people Niall?!" He whispered back, sounding shocked.

"It obvious! Every time anyone says anything to do with being gay you get all tense and quiet." I said, bringing a fresh round of tears. He rubbed my back and spoke again.

"Shh Ni, its because, um, I'm gay too."
