a song a chapter–
"Bite 'til my lip bleeds whenever you kiss me, 'cause that's the shit that I like. Screening my phone calls, like I give a shit. Leather jacket hair bleached like a cool kid. If you wanted something real, this is as real as it gets, already hooked you in before the hook began."
This is why I'm hot.

"Holy shit. Florence Abbott?"
A voice. She knew that voice. She looked over, and it was as if she had never drank a drop of alcohol in her life.
"Ginny?"
She turned around only to see the ginger girl she had fallen for in 5th year standing with a red cup in her hand and looking as hot as ever.
"Hey." She said, walking over to Florence. "I feel like it's been forever since I've seen you, Flo. What are you doing for work now?" Ginny asked. "I- um, I've been working at Ollivander's. Yeah, my, um, my roommate Zelda actually works with your brothers at their shop. That's the only reason I'm here... because of Zel. But, enough about me, how's it going with the Harpies and with... Harry."
Ginny looked sad at the mention of Harry. After the war, they had been a total power couple, both complete badasses. Everyone wanted to be them. "Actually, uh, Harry and I broke up a month or two ago. I've actually been living with Luna... Luna Lovegood. You remember her, right?" Ginny asked. "How could one not remember Luna? She's amazing! Are you and her... like.. you know.." Florence asked awkwardly. "OH- no! She's just my best friend and gave me somewhere to stay since I was living with Harry. Yeah, nothings happening between us." Ginny said.
"Well, I'm gonna get home before I'm too tipsy. We should meet up for drinks or tea sometime. It was good to see you, Ginny." Florence smiled. "You too, Flor. I'll call you sometime!" Ginny said walking back to her friends, leaving Florence stunned.

With a crack, Florence was back at her flat, alone, leaving herself to many thoughts, the first being what the fuck just happened, and the second being fuck you Zelda for bringing me to that stupid party. She just ran into Ginevra Weasley, the girl she fell head over heels for all those years ago at Hogwarts. Correction, Ginny was now a woman. A fucking hot one at that. Florence hadn't expected to see Ginny ever again. Well, that was an understatement. She didn't expect to see her for a few years after Ginny got married to stupid Harry Potter and they had a bunch of stupid ginger babies and needed to get their stupid wands for school. But she hadn't speculated that to be for another 10 years, give or take.
And the worst part of it all... drumroll please... Ginny wanted to see her again. Ginny asked her to go get drinks. Or, was that the best part? Too early to decide. Anyways, now she had to go on a date with Ginny. Well, it's not technically a date, and she technically doesn't have to go, but you get the idea.
After another hour of questioning her life choices, Flo decided it would be best to go to bed. She had planned tomorrow to meet Hannah at the Leaky Cauldron when she got off for lunch. As Saturday was usually the one day Florence didn't work, and the day that was busiest for Han, she decided to offer her help. It normally wouldn't have been an issue, but Hogwarts was just about to start their school year, so Diagon Alley was bustling, which meant she had to work the morning at Ollivander's, and the evening at the Cauldron for Hannah. Mr. Ollivander was only making her work until 11:45 after rush, though, so it wasn't too bad. Neville offered to help, as his shop was only a block or so down the street, but Hannah refused to let him. Flo never knew why, Hannah was always looking for help, but she decided not to budge her on it. Maybe a good nights sleep would help, and at lunch she could rant to Hannah.

Normally, Mr. Ollivander had a casual dress code for his employees– well, employee, as it was only Florence– but, when it was back to school month, they both decided to dress a little bit better. Florence put on her light grey blazer and skirt set with a button down underneath, and quickly brushed through her hair so that it looked somewhat decent. She wouldn't have time to go back to the flat before the cauldron, so she threw a pair of jeans and her black Weird Sisters shirt into her bag so she could change there.
She walked into the living room to see Zelda half awake on the couch. "You look like shit." She commented to her best friend. "Shut the fuck up, bitch. What time is it?" Zelda retorted. "About 8:15. Want to apparate to the alley together?" "Fuck, I forgot I had to work today. Why the fuck does stupid Hogwarts have to go back to school." Flo laughed at her friend, continuing to get ready to leave. "Oh, Fred and George are getting employee breakfast today, wanna stop by so you don't have to pay for coffee?" Thank merlin. She loved it when the twins bought breakfast and she could stop by before work. Since only four people worked at the joke shop, they always had extra food, so they started inviting Flo to get stuff for her and Mr. Ollivander. Breakfast was also when her and George had their weekly gossip chats. Maybe he could help her with Ginny, since he already knew about the situation at Hogwarts. "Okay, come on get dressed. I need to go now if I can have breakfast and get to work on time."
